Gwyneth Paltrow: It’s funny because they didn’t realize it for a long time. My son was only one on the first movie, so obviously he had really no clue for "Iron Man" or “Iron Man 2,” but now for this movie he’s six and he’s super into Iron Man and Hulk. I remember the day he kind of put it together that Robert was Iron Man, because he has had an affinity for Robert his whole life. He really loves Robert, and now the fact that Robert’s Iron Man just puts an extra little spin on it. My kids loved him anyway, but it’s really fun I think for a little boy to realize that he’s friends with Iron Man.

I decided to get the cookbook, some of those recipes look pretty good. And I am still hoping against hope she mentions Chris! Whenever she says someone in her household is a chocoholic, I think of Chris!

I have the 1st one and used it a lot. I make her turkey burgers at least 1x/week. I would have loved to get a signed copy though. I hope she can sign a few more.

 

Funny how people ridicule her. This goop email went out only a couple of hrs ago, yet the books are all gone.

Gwyneth Paltrow Admits Her Children Cheat on Gluten-Free Diet with "Hot Cheetos and Oreos"

We know Gwyneth Paltrow and her family follow a strict low-carb, gluten-free diet, but even the celebrity clan gets to splurge from time to time.

 

In her most recent Goop newsletter, the 40-year-old mother of two opened up about her new cookbook, It's All Good, and shared how she strikes a balance with her children between maintaining a healthy diet and enjoying a little junk food.

 

Rest assured, Gwyneth critics, Hot Cheetos and Oreos aren't always off limits.

 

"I tried to start them off with all of the right foods, but as they got older, the lure of Oreos and cotton candy outweighed the lure of carrots with hummus," Chris Martin's wife admits. "And that's all a part of childhood and I love Oreos too, so I completely understand. I try to make sure that what is on their plate at home is nutritious and tasty, and then I loosen way up on the reigns when we are out."

 

Sounds like a solid plan to us! So, what do 8-year-old Apple and 6-year-old Moses choose to snack on when they aren't under mom's watchful eye?

 

"They love a brown rice stir-fry, but they also love their 'Coke of the week'," she confesses. "My daughter gravitates toward fresh fruit and raw nuts but will inhale a bag of Hot Cheetos at the airport. It's all about balance."

 

The self-described "insanely busy working mother" also shares her food philosophy, "eat good, fresh food that is totally delicious" and explains how she always includes her children in the cooking process, so they can learn the benefits of healthy habits at an early age.

 

"I've included my kids in the kitchen from almost the time they were born. They were always strapped to my back when I was cooking or nearby in a highchair watching and banging spoons," she writes. "From very early on, I encouraged them to participate…they always felt proud. Later we started doing math with measuring cups and ounces. I was always looking for ways to show the kitchen as a place to acquire vast practical knowledge."

 

And the blond beauty admits she's always up for a challenge in the kitchen.

"My food comes from me and so it is true to me," she says. "I just know what I want to eat. And if I want something, or my family wants something, and it's on the restricted food or allergy list, I love to find my way around the obstacle. I'm all about finding my way around an obstacle."

Funny - yesterday I had just read the post about Moses and went on to the Kiss and in that instant Viva la Vida started on Vh1, Denmark. :awesome:

I will. Conflicting info though. I read on goop that it would take 3-4 weeks for the autographed books to ship, yet at check out it said 4-7 days. We shall see!

It is exciting! I am getting a copy, but alas, it won't be signed. I'm curious to see if there is a CM in a little purple heart somewhere on the cover. :)
