Gwyneth...

Featured Replies

I'm sorry but i'm a little bit mad at Gwyneth, that news is far too personal, Chris will be so upset by this.

I'm really sorry for them but i don't think the miscarriage was this or last year, because she seemed okay in the last two years

I'm sure they talked it over before she would put such personal info in the book. She's been working on this for a while. Chris will be ok with it, he loves her.

So nice to know that Alison is very much involved with the family as well. She's so private.

Ok, I'm going to brace myself and watch The Talented Mr. Ripley now. Not my kind of movie, but I'm going to give it a try.

Just thought I'd pop in to express my opinion... It's very sad news about the miscarriage, but as people have been saying, it's clearly made their relationship stronger if anything. It seems pretty likely it would've happened in '08, the fact she was willing to talk about it would suggest it didn't happen recently.

But boy, am I sick of people on Twitter/Instagram going on about "Pray for the Martins" etc. Yes, quite clearly it was difficult for them, but I really don't think that's necessary. Don't get me wrong. I love Chris and Gwyneth. But if she wanted all that sympathy she would've made a massive thing of it. Hope I'm not coming across as too bitchy, but y'know. Some fangirls are just being so dramatic about the whole thing.

That video defines every single reason why I HATE the paparazzi.

Its really sad , But I guess they are mature people and handling it ok. Still, for anyone and everyone its really unfortunate and sad.

I also do not particularly like the "Pray for the Martins" thing going around on twittter and instagram . I don't think neither Chris nor Gwyneth would appreciate it. Anyway, Lets hope for the best . :)

Remember back in 2008 when she was admitted to the hospital? The one I think Chris told the TMZ camera guy "to have some respect?" he grabbed the guys camera?? That was said she was "Fasting" or something like that, maybe that was when it was, Moses would have been 2:thinking:

That would explain why he acted like he did.

Indeed

Some news outlets are speculating that they are going to split because Gwyneth said "Regardless of what happens to our marriage". :(

She always says stuff like that. She's just saying, that even if the worst happens, blah blah. Doesn't mean you're getting divorced.

IMO, it's different to say, "No matter what happens IN our marriage...," rather than saying, "No matter what happens TO or WITH our marriage." It's my thought that she was just speaking with regard to the children at that time and merely saying that, details of their life as a married couple aside, he's a great dad. I don't think she meant anything ominous by it, and yes, she says stuff like that all the time. She's said in previous articles that she wants to maintain her marriage so she needs to be there when he comes home (which she also got roasted over a fire by feminists for saying. I think she honestly can't say anything...) She's also said that anything can happen in a marriage and you can't sit back and think "I've got this" and not maintain it and nurture it. Beyonce also said the same thing. BUT people will be people and read into things no matter what. Personally, looking from the outside, I think they seem closer and more connected than ever.

I agree. I think they've been super close since the beginning of their relationship. I loved in the article where she said he is hilarious. You have to have laughter in a marriage, it really makes everything easier to deal with!

From the original article

When Chris is away touring or recording with Coldplay they FaceTime each other on their iPhones every day.
This is cute :wacky:

edit: Oh and this is great too

Moses is ‘kind and cuddly’ and absolutely ‘delish’ (an Anglicism that Gwyneth uses a lot) and very much his father’s son, playing drums, guitar and violin and writing songs
Yesss :awesome:

Now Chris can no longer call for violins ( or was it trumpets?) to be melted to make something more useful.

I think it was saxophones :laugh3:

^ Oh wait, what was this about? I don't remember

I think you're right, Lily. Thx.

Gwyneth Paltrow's family of four was almost a family of five.

The Oscar winning-actress reveals for the first time in a new interview with The Mail on Sunday's You magazine that she had a miscarriage.

Paltrow, who has a daughter Apple, 8, and son Moses, 6, has been married to Coldplay singer Chris Martin since 2003.

"I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third," she says, not mentioning when the tragedy happened. "It didn't work out and I nearly died. So I am like, 'Are we good here or should we go back and try again?'"

Still, she admits that Apple and Moses would love to have a sibling.

"My children ask me to have a baby all the time," explains the 40-year-old. "And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third. I'm thinking about it."

Paltrow also uses the interview to rave about Martin as a father.

"To know that you had kids with such a good man is a real weight off you," she says. "We are committed co-parents, we make all the decisions together and lean on each other for support."

I didn't know she had a miscarriage. I'm happy she's ok now, but now that I think about it. Do you think maybe this had to do w/canceling the tour? I would cancel my tour too if it was me

The consensus in this thread is that it's old news, probably in 2008 when she was taken to the Mt. Sinai emergency room.

Chris is a charmer. He leaves all these female interviewers wanting more. I listen to the same interviews over and over again and still laugh so hard. I can't imagine being married to him. It must be a riot. He's a natural.

I've always said he could have a 2nd career as a comedian and was glad to read that Gwyneth thinks so as well.

The Gwyneth --hate is in full force today, since more outlets are picking up the miscarriage story.

Sad, but the press will play around with it for awhile along with the words she spoke or were taken out of context about her marriage...
