I never knew they had a new video. Man Flea's outfit is crazy!!!! I love it.

i saw and loved the daniel california video, i guessed some bands that they 'refer' on the video (like elvis presley, the beatles, nirvana...) but some others not, can anybody tell me all the bands they 'refer' on the video... please, if it's possible by pm (i can't come here very often so i can't check the thread).

they really don't, they have a style which is recognisable (as do Coldplay) and comes through in all their songs, but to say their songs from 'Blood Sugar Sex Magik' and 'Californication', for example, sound the same, is not an accurate statement.

 

 

I think i like the new album, 'Torture Me' and 'Strip my Mind' are particularly good!

Saw them last night at Earls Court....they were brilliant!! :nice:

Played song after song after song....and John's guitar playing is just incredible.....it was amazing to be so close to them!!!

 

The stage was really small to what Id expected...and because me and my friend had got there early and queued (in the sun gah) we were allowed in the closest standing area to the stage...they had barricades further back (I guess to prevent the crowd surging all the way from the very back)....it was excellent...you could go get a drink/go to the loo without losing your space really!!

 

Anyway....they played so many songs! T'was brilliant....Californication was a definite highlight for me. :)
