Feeling a bit down because most people went away for Easter. I even consider going to see my boyfriend tomorrow but the train ticket would cost me like £55.

Have you tried the usual tricks of getting 2 singles instead of a return or spiting up your journey so go from Liverpool to a station on the line and from that station to sunderland on the same train?
