I was trying to think up something to say, but epic failed.

Therefore I post a video of a bull in a supermarket

I am. I stayed in most of the day though because of the rain.

How are you doing?

Pretty good, it's been meh weather down around here (being cloudy and not doing anything else), but it rained overnight which was a bugger as I wanted to rake the grass to get rid of the moss, but I did manage to cut back some of the bushes around the front to make it neat.

However it looks like the rain is slowly making it's way down south as it's getting rather dark outside now.

Been upto much indoors today?

Cool, at least you got some of it done!

We were thinking of going to Chester but my friends thought it was too cold and rainy.

I'm nearly done with uni work, only got one exam left now. I probably should start looking for jobs soon.

good luck in finding a job, even if it's a crappy job you get offered it's worth taking.

Yay with uni, your almost a free lady, freedom from education, all educated and ready for work.

I wish. Got one more year left till I finish. I wanna do teacher training so I've got another year of education after I graduate. I'll get paid for that though so no more crappy student accomodation...

Yeah I'll take whatever comes up really. It's not easy to find a job at the moment but a lot of students leave for the summer so hopefully I'll be ok.

good luck looking for jobs sally, and congrats for exams :)

Cheers! Got one more exam this week. I got a 1rst in the essay which counts 50% though so I definitely won't fail the module.

I was talking to a friend about the current climate, as we are both in jobs in which we are looking for the next step (he is someone who sits behind a desk in lloyds tsb opening accounts up for people), and how the job market has dried up.

Lord Brown and co say unemployment is only 2 million ish, but that is just the people claiming job-seekers money, so the true figure could be a lot more (with people out of work, but not claiming benefits) and that the job pages in the local papers have been reduced from ~ 6 pages to 2 pages. However there are still jobs available, as cleaners/kitchen porters. But the problem is this summer when more students come out of uni and onto the job market.

good luck with your exam Sal :D

I imagine it's particularly difficult if you're looking for banking jobs.:\ Good luck though! Do you think there might be a chance to get promoted in your current job?

I already phoned a couple of agencies and a lot of them told me that they don't have any jobs going. They told me I can still send them a CV in .case something comes up

It all looks pretty crap and unemployment in Liverpool has always been pretty high. My boyfriend said we could always try to apply for jobs in Sunderland if we can't find anything here. Unemployment is pretty high up there as well though. Plus this would mean staying at his parents' which we don't really want.

Only if the current people above me decide to move on.

I'm just after an accounting role somewhere i can use my skills

Spend a couple days away to come back and find the lounge alive and full of random threads.

Nice :)

yeah random threads made by trolls..........

congrats sally  so any plans for weekend / summer already?

yeah you are right rick, and each day there are more and more trolls around

Congrats Sally :)

I know Rick, but there isn't a lot that can be done about it if they don't go breaking the forum rules, sadly there isn't a rule against creating random threads about nothingness.

Well you could always put your foot down david. :D :smash:

Thanks Ari and Dave!

I went for a meal with a couple of friends from my course and we went into town after! Didnt do a lot today. Had a lie-in and watched the race and the Manchester derby.

I dont have a lot of plans yet. We're definitely going to Silverstone for the F1 race (already got the ticket) and we've been thinking of going to Paris for a few days. It all depends on whether we can get a job though...

What are your plans for the summer?

Dave your avatar is sooo cute :nice:

Like people would take any notice :P

You never know until you try.

Thanks Ari and Dave!
