tap on the windows! yeah yeah! that's in the ' Creeps...are you a good un?' guidebook.

haha true, I don't wear make up lol

it's kinda funny that you guys notice that I look unswedish or different or whatever because I sometimes wonder if people do notice it. I mean of cours the see that I'm not blond  but y'know

But do wear sunblock because it protects your skin and it prevents it from appearing dark spots ;)

Take notes hon ;) I wear sunblock every day :D

there is (damn it ...i am make-up addicted) anyway

there is make-up that has spf added.

I think about that a lot when the real sun comes back next summer, virvir

what is spf?

I kinda dated a girl over summer from canada who wouldnt stop talking about spf. Constantly SPF SPF, something to do with the sun protection.

Its a number or something. God damn annoying is what it is.

wow I didn't know what it was either but since I mentioned sunblock so I thought it would be along those lines..

Annoying is what it is.

hahahahahahaha that's silly

I don't why that was so funny

sun protection factor. the number is the amount of effectiveness it has in your sunblock.

Annoying is what that is.

Have I mentioned that yet?

Good to know ;)

All this SPFwtf bullshit is bullshit

I can sit under the umbrella and still have my nose red because of the sunburn... Argh hate it.

Now that we've established what sun protection factor is, have we established that its annoying?

Oh! You could use tanning lotions! :idea2:

:Dnot funny I know.. but it could work ;)

hehe

yeah, I have that going on.

I have posted this before. MOST of my friends are hispanic. And my family is all tan.

They are basically the color of my sister who is in this old pic. And I am in it too.

And I am not tan!

I am the palest of all my people

I am the second one (from left to right) and Le sister is the last one in line.

You can't see the difference and overly amount. But it's there. And worse in better lighting.

Talking about SPF is weird. It's like... I dunno. It's like when you sit in a restaurant with somebody and this somebody says he/she's on a diet and doesn't want any dessert. But when you order a cheesecake or whatever else he/she eats your dessert like, "can I have some? Uuu, yummy! wait, let me taste it again.."

So why don't you order a dessert for yourself?? Do it instead of pretending you're so healthy and you don't eat desserts while eating my cheesecake.... arghhhhh.

really? it's not THAT bad. Crazy girl, you come up with the most difficult scenarios!

Maybe down south it's more common to talk about spf? I think it's a serious need here. Like if you don't wear a good number of spf, you have to walk around looking like a shrimp shell the next day..and feel like whatever the hell a shrimp shell must feel like.

I have to say that I get a good tan very fast if I stay out in the sun, in case you wondered.

a queston about the english language:

is saying " I am not tan" the same as "I am not brow" if you know what I mean

normally its not bad were i live in winter but in summer it can be really bad. like last week it was 37c but yesterday on christmas it was 15c and stormy.

when its hot you HAVE TO wear sunscreen. otherwise i'm normally alright

Whaha. It is for me 'cause in my city almost everybody's pale like a paper. And so am I and I like it. But some of the girls I know think that they have to be tanned, they like r'n'b and all, you know, and for them you can't be good-looking if you're pale. So they put on tonns of make-up, fake tan or what's the word and they look yellow-brownish. So they think they're gorgeous I guess... But the worst part is that every time we see each other they tell me how pale I am and that I look like a corpse :shifty: Not annoying at all...

well, if you got real specific and you were trying to explain whether you got a tan or not ... if you are talking skin colors and want to involve your exposure to the sun...then say tan. If you are speaking colors...white black yellow... then say brown.

But really, people do use both. I would and could and can get away with it. No problems at all.

owkey

so if I have got a tan I can say "I''m tan" ?

it sounds so awfully weird.

I'd rather say "I'm tanned"
