January 6, 200719 yr I hate the idea of Coldplaying being played at a wedding. Maybe I just hate the idea of weddings. But not really...
January 6, 200719 yr Perhaps Coldplay would be able to redo the Dance of Chicken? That would be a hoot! oh oh!
January 6, 200719 yr ^Oh, that would be wonderful, Grace! :nice: Yesterday at the church the priest mentioned Moses and who came into my mind? :D
January 6, 200719 yr I was at a store yesterday and there was this one shirt that had apples all over it...
January 7, 200719 yr I was at the salon and my hair was being dried and I was reading this magazine. And I turned the page and Gwyneth's Pleasures ad was spread across two pages. It was like so, IN YOUR FACE. I <3 Gwyn, but I can't look at her sometimes. :disappointed: She is so lucky... *edit* My friend said the weirdest thing the other day, but it was SO true. She was like, "You know, if Gwyneth like, ever cheated on Chris(God forbid!), you know how many angry girls there will be around the WORLD?!"
January 7, 200719 yr ^ that cheating one is so true haha, we've gotta protect our chrissy. so Gwyn... you better watch out!!
January 7, 200719 yr Hehe, I'd be one of them. I'm lookinf into that Rhapsody music service and a pic on their FAQ has the X&Y cover on it, haha.
January 7, 200719 yr At my dentist's office yesterday, I found an advertisement/promotional page (from People magazine?? The issue also featured a bunch of celebrities and quotes and such...can't remember exactly though) for the Grammy's and it featured a quote by Coldplay. Supposedly they said that the Grammys were not all about who sold the most records or who made the most money (blah blah blah), but an award to honor those who worked the hardest and achieved in creativity and production; to also honor those working "behind the scenes." To that, I thought "...YOU WISH. There is not enough justice in the world." :dozey:
January 7, 200719 yr The main reason I got out of bed yesterday: because I noticed my Coldplay poster was starting to come off the wall at the top so I got up to fix it. I was playing junior scrabble with my sister yesterday (it was my nieces scrabble set) and my sister went first and the word she put was TALK. I started to sing the song but she told me to be quiet  . My first word was beer :)
January 7, 200719 yr My best friend is very obsessed with Radiohead at the moment so when we talk about Jonny it gets really confusing... Also, I'm just doing stuff for my astronomy speech on 'speed in space' and have to think of Jonny all the time, God, how could he STUDY this at universaty?
January 7, 200719 yr today i was thinking Jonny boy and Chris...who have better guitar skill? i am a little bit confused. i think they do different guitar part in the song so it's hard for me to compare. what do all of you think???:)
January 7, 200719 yr I drove from Virginia to Maryland and back- a total of 8 HOURS. Anyway I listened to Coldplay most of the time- they're perfect driving music. And has anyone noticed how good Will's gotten at drumming??? :D Like, I was listening to Don't Panic on the Blue Room EP and his timing was terrible on that song. His drumming in X&Y is waaay better. I <3 him.
January 7, 200719 yr Remember too that the earlier stuff wasn't very dependent on drums...you simply needed someone competent to keep tempo. X&Y was more of a beat-driven record, and he definitely did a very nice job.
January 8, 200719 yr ^I agree with you Ray. At my dentist's office yesterday, I found an advertisement/promotional page (from People magazine?? The issue also featured a bunch of celebrities and quotes and such...can't remember exactly though) for the Grammy's and it featured a quote by Coldplay. Supposedly they said that the Grammys were not all about who sold the most records or who made the most money (blah blah blah), but an award to honor those who worked the hardest and achieved in creativity and production; to also honor those working "behind the scenes." To that, I thought "...YOU WISH. There is not enough justice in the world." :dozey: That was on the official Grammy website too.
January 8, 200719 yr ^It's weird that they would compliment awards, I was listening to an interview with Chris on my iPod before he sung an acoustic song, and he was talking about how he believed that with "X&Y" Coldplay no longer made music that awards shows sought out for, and he basically said he was cynical of awards and hinted that he thought that awards were "fixed" for certain artists that the industry chooses to be popular? Maybe his opinion has changed.
January 8, 200719 yr I listened to Parchutes and X&Y today when I did the ironing (I know that seems like a lot of ironing but there are eight of us living under this roof and I'm a slow ironer)... It was a nice distraction from an otherwise repetitive and boring job.
January 8, 200719 yr I was walking down the street when I've noticed a sticker on the car saying SOS. & All of the sudden, Speed Of Sound started playing in my head :nice:
January 8, 200719 yr I just remembered that in in 10th grade, so it's 2 years ago, we had to make a song and a video for music classes. We made this really random video including lots of pizzas and we ended up calling our 'band' The Diseaze. Highly inspired by Clocks. :P
January 8, 200719 yr ^ we had a jingle project in music class in grade 8, too :D SO MUCH FUN! we ended up stealing the tune of "Island In The Sun"..
January 8, 200719 yr What did you sing? We took 'mollys chamber' by Kings of Leon but sang really odd German lyrics. I mean our chorus was something like 'Du willst es - wir ham es, unsere Musik ändert deinen Geist. Wir ham dein, dein Portmonee.' Or something. It really didnt sound like we sound about it much but we sooo did. It was cool sitting in music class and watching those and then having 'our' bandname on the screen. I could only think 'Am I part of the Cure? No!'
January 8, 200719 yr I was looking through my Spanish textbook. And there's this section where you can find all the vocab words. There's this little list of phrases in Spanish, and one of them said 'every cloud has a silver lining.' and it reminded me of Coldplay.
January 9, 200719 yr I know I had a dream about Coldplay last night, but I can't remember what it was about. In English we get to write fables! And my lead character is a girl named "Daylight" and she lives on "Sleeping Sun Ave." hahaha. I tried to stick Coldplay in where they could fit. And there's this one Yeah Yeah Yeahs song called "Cold Light."--it starts off, "Cold Light, hot night...." but I always think she's going to say, "Cold-play..." I wish she would!!!
January 9, 200719 yr I was checking my email and I found this: iTunes sent me this email. And look at the album in the middle! :P:D
January 9, 200719 yr What did you sing? we had to make jingles for products. so we invented a drink called "Alfee". Al for alcohol and Fee for coffee. however...i hope this drink will never exist :shocked2: and we sang:"Mit Alfee hast du freunde, auch wenn es dir nicht passt." pretty crappy. because we had a little story... some dude is meeting up with another guy and they're like:"omg! you'Ve got alfee!?!!" and then the bell is ringing and there are loadsa people outside wanting that drink. :\
