Yeah. I'm worried about the incoming sophomores only because their the clique-y-est bunch I've ever seen. But I know a couple of them, who are pretty cool. But brand new freshman, oh god. Good luck! :)

I'm going to be a junior :) I'm kinda sad, because we lost 2 really amazing players (their so good you want to cry) at graduation. Our marching program is only grades 10-12. There is roughly 160-170 of us total. We have three bands; Concert band (freshman), Symphonic Band (lower level 10-12), and Sym. Winds (higher level 10-12). So, I guess we have a pretty big program. :P But that's relatively small considering the population of my school is 1,600+

I love Band so much, but sometimes I feel like I'm apart from it. :\ I love listening to music more than I love playing it. I've always thought it was because Clarinet is the only instrument I play, and I wish I could learn piano and guitar. :)

Ugh. I know how you feel. That's pretty much how the entire freshman class is :shifty:

Ooh, cool. I'm going to be a sophomore. Actually, we lost two brilliant (freakin' amazing) players at graduation also. And now our trombone and percussion sections are in serious trouble. :uhoh:

Wow. Our band teacher promised us that he would shave his mustache if we ever got more than 50 members :P We had 48 last year (so close!!). We just have marching band and concert band, with grades 9-12 included in everything (and then we have a jazz band that meets in the mornings). But my school is extremely small, like 320 kids in the entire high school, so . . . .

Same here! :P I've always wanted to learn how to play piano. The only things I can play are the Clocks riff, part of Viva la Vida, and the intro to DaaHF :rolleyes5:

  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

I heard ETIAW 3 times during the car ride to and from the beach :nice:

Also, while taking a walk in front of the hotel where we were staying, I heard someone playing ETIAW across the street.

I ran over there and told the lady in the car that it was my favorite song and she was like... "Woah, that's so cool, are you a Coldplay fan?" and I was like "OMG YES!" and she actually didn't stare at me funny, she actually stuck her hand out the window and said "Well hello fellow Coldplay fan!"

I was really cool :D I'm lucky there were no cars coming down the street when I ran over to her car :P

Well, that's more than I can play! I only know one song on piano: Ode to Joy. It's pitiful. :P

^^Lovely moment! :)

I am sure I'm one of the biggest fans in my entire city. I have yet to meet another hard core fan. :\ Out of 100,000+ people, I mean really????

I feel the same! Anybody in my area knows coldplay (except people that know me :P)

Pretty sure I'm the only hardcore Coldplay fan in my entire town. There's a couple of other kids that like a few of their songs, but most of them are actually 'haters'. :\

I mean, there has to be more than just me, for Pete's sake! I live 90 miles from Minneapolis! :P

I've tried to get some of my friends to listen to Coldplay, and some of them like a couple songs, but they've got nothing on me. :D

:shocked2: Your school is tiny. My school has about 3000 students. :P Sometimes I wish I went to a small school though. :)

So there's a new rollercoaster in Walibi World in Holland. It's called: 'Speed of Sound'!

That's awesome. :D

Yeah I know :P Wow. Your school is huge! :laugh4:

Small school are pretty nice because everyone knows everyone and there are seniors and teachers that are perfectly willing to help a freshman. Even the middle schoolers are on a first-name basis with everyone.

Yeah. But supposedly my school is considered middle sized according to the collegeboard. :P

That's why I would love to go to a small school cause then I would know everyone. :nice: I'll be a senior this coming school year so I'll see if i can recognize who's a freshman...most likely yes though cause they are very immature. :shifty:

I'm browsing through this magazine and i flip the page and there was this picture of someone who I immediately thought was Guy! Except now that I look at the picture, it looks more like Richard Hughes :awesome:

Exactly two years ago on July 18, 2009 I saw Coldplay live. It truly was the best day of my life. :wacky: I miss them and really want to go see them again. Hurry up Coldplay and announce another tour. Please. :nice:

That's how many are in my school...I mean my old school :( ah! I miss HS!

Whenever someone tells me that their graduation took a long time, the first thing that pops into my head is 'Oh those poor band kids! I can't imagine how long they had to play' :laugh4:

You aren't the only one! :P

I've been thinking about this recently; I have a Coldplay obsession, and because of that, I have other, smaller, offshoot obsessions.

They are Butterflies, Converse, England/London, and Music in general.

I think becoming a Coldplay fan is one of the best things I could have done in my entire life for my happiness :D

Oh God! I was dying after we played at graduation! But they were pretty fast... Yes. I would have been like, "Are you trying to kill them?!?!?!" :P

YES! Ha ha I still need to order my Coldplay converse...Hmmmm.....

I can't wait until I can see them in person!!! I'm dying to go to a concert... As long as I get to see Coldplay, I will die a happy person. :P:D:lol:

Haha well I didn't pay attention to the band cuz I was too busy worrying about not tripping :P but im pretty sure they didn't play when we walked the stage to get the diploma. That's what took a long time and they probably knew that would be way too long to play :P

I know that's why I come here to let it all out and talk about it with others
