I had tix for that Florida concert they cancelled. I had planned my trip to Florida (from Canada) specifically to see the Tampa show. I carried my tix on me for almost a week waiting for the concert. When I found out the morning of the concert they had cancelled, I was stunned. I hadn't been so disappointed by something so much in a long while.

I've been listening Coldplay-unplugged for two days..Then I looked to album cover and my eyes started to fill with tears :(

because it is exactly 9 years ago

Yes I understand that it will be harder once you're at grtaduate school. I hope you have lots of fun right now then and enjoy all the festivals you are able to attend. :) I've decided though that I will not be going to the Vegas Show now however since they will be going to LA now. :D

 

Just heard about the LA show, I hope you get tickets! Seeing them in a small venue like that will be amazing, that's how it was when I saw them for the first time :) I am leaving for Chicago the next day so I wouldn't be able to go to that show anyways(flight is a lot more expensive from LA then Vegas) but since I am seeing them in Chicago, I can't be too upset. :)

I've flown to another city for a Coldplay concert before but the farthest I have been is Utah. Never have I flown this far to see them! I am excited to see Chicago. How long are you staying in Chicago for?

Chicago is such an awesome city! I've been there 3 times visiting family. Make sure to try deep dish pizza and chicago style hot dog :P im only gonna be there till monday :\ I would stay longer but my sister has to work :( and you?

Nope, I just got the Friday pass to see Coldplay :) So I will have two full days of sightseeing in Chicago, can't wait!

Is it just me or do the new songs sound better the longer they play them live? Like significantly better. Especially Hurts Like Heaven and Charlie Brown even more. I don't know what it is, probably all the practice and working out bugs. But i had mp3's of these songs live for 6/3 and now I have the one's from 7/2 and it's pretty amazing what 1 month difference between live versions makes! :D

 

Yeeeah, same here! I think that both songs are much more better than at the start now!

 

Btw I want to say that Viva la Vida @ Oxegen just blow me away! There is so much energy in the atmosphere during this song and how Chris sing "Yes, FROM THE FRONT TO THE BAACCKK...OHOHOHOHOHOH" - beautiful! For me the best Viva performance so far.

I had my first ever Coldplay dream tonight! :) I met Chris, we were chatting a bit, and then I asked him about the album. He told me that they finished the tracklisting "yesterday"... and started telling me the songs: 1. MX, 2. Hurts Like Heaven, 3. U-------- suddenly a text message came to my phone and woke me up :dozey: :D :D :D
