What time do you wish you were born?

Featured Replies

Ive done this before, but fuck you motherfucker.

Theres nothing like fresh underwear in the morning, and the same rule applies to making new threads. At least Im sorting one of those things out, right now

I wish I was born in the 40's, around 1946ish, just to experience all the awesome music that I've missed out on.

Theres a song out right now, its called "I Wish I was a Punk Rocker" which sounds horrifically cheesy, but some lines in that song are actually pretty decent, things I can relate to.

I cant remember what smelly two bit whore sings it, but it sucks. Still has a message though.

Yay!Great thread, just for me haha, I've always felt a bit out of time.I think my time is 70-s.Hippies, jeans, love and beautiful music....Maybe the end of 60-s-begining of 70-s.

5.30?? Or do you mean period??

Maybe you should read Reilly's first post before asking this question.

I'll have you know that was a very good period...............................aah - I remember it well. No overpopulation, no pollutants destroying the atmosphere, no McFly, Michelle McManus or EastEnders. Those were the days!!

I'll take McFly and Eastenders over sitting around a campfire eating rats and using rocks as toilet paper.

Then you'd love the TV series "Life On Mars".................................it's fantastic!!:)

The 50's would have been cool, I'd have lived during the beatles era, all through the 70's, Queen, and the ridiculous 80's which I'm sure rocked

I'd like to live way back, maybe the 18th century....althoguh Im sure it would get boring after a while!

1965.

28821.jpgA detective chief inspector from 2006 is investigating a serial killer when he is knocked over by a speeding car. Waking up, he finds himself mysteriously transported back in time to 1973. Initially struggling to come to terms with his situation, he has to come to terms with the old-fashioned technology and attitude of the day, while figuring out how he came to be trapped in the past.

The actor John Simm described the show as "a cross between Back to the Future and The Sweeney", and it makes effective use of the disorientation of the unwitting time traveller while taking a post-modern romp through 1970s fashions and technologies, with due tribute paid to the classic police dramas of the day to fashion a truly unique programme.

I actually think the present is better than the past ever was and I think the future will be better
