Crying

Featured Replies

We've had a thread about what makes people cry, but whens the last time you did?

Is it a weakness to cry?

The last time I cried was a very long time ago indeed, that I cant actually remember when it was. I dont know if I see it as a sign of weakness, I'd love to sit here and pretend I'm sensitive and be like "Crying is strength not weakness!" but when I see a dude crying over some sissy issue, its just like...

We're such manly men.

Hold me

Last time was about 2 weeks ago but there was a serious reason so I was crying for a pretty long time in my room...Don't cry too much though.

two days ago, when I got pissed with my final exams and my parents...

there are times when I cry quite often, of course it depends on how I'm feeling in general... I don't think that crying means to be weak, though. showing emotions means showing strength, hehe... ;)

Hold me

sounds very gay... :uneasy:

crying is just showing emotions

Yeah nothing to do with strenght or weakness.Like laugh.Just emotion. But still..Nobody will ever see me crying.Don't know why, but I can cry only when I'm alone.

i dont think its a sign of weakness, still i find if very difficult to cry in public. i hardly ever do.

i last cried about a week ago when i was alone in my room.

hmm, crying is really good. Crying doesn't mean you're weak it just means you feel things are out of your control. For someone who's very emotionally weak that might be spilled milk.. but for someone else it might be that everyone in the world is dead and they have e-boli or something.

Anyway, crying makes you feel good so I actually don't mind it generally. I think crying feels better than almost any other emotion there is. Circumstances around it are usually bad but crying itself always makes me feel better about things.

last time I really cried was yesterday :P I had good reasons. There was a long time when I wasn't crying at all. basically I couldn't cry because I had nothing to cry about. I didn't have much to lose.

Just like the others, I believe that cry isn't a sign of weakness although this is the only emotion that I can't show... 'cause of my shyness, I mean, I prefer to do it when I'm alone, 'cause in the other case, if somebody would see me I'd feel pretty ashamed of it - but I don't know why either.

I think the last time I cried was the last week, but I don't remember why, though, although after do it I feel much better.

I've realized that almost everybody is saying the same: people cry when they're alone 'cause they wouldn't be able to show that feeling with people around them... and the question is... WHY?!

cuz people don't trust people with their emotions and it's hard to do that if you really value your emotions. also if someone is a stuck up son of a gun they just want people to think they're perfect....

that's true, they don't trust others with their emotions, but for example, you can show any other emotion and you wouldn't feel ashamed of it, just like laugh, be happy, even if you're sad... but when this emotion is cry it's totally different... although everybody here is saying that they don't relate it with weakness... I'm sure that in their unconscious they relate it - like if it were a bad thing

because it's easy to laugh, but it's not easy to cry and when we're crying people know something very bad happened to us and we can't handle it. When we laugh it just means we thought something was funny

i find it very hard to cry in public. i really dont want anyone to ask me why im crying.

another reason is that i think a lot more about certain things which make me sad when i'm on my own.

aha.. I think you're completely right. ;) Moreover, I think is way too hard for boys to show that feeling!

Just like Sally said, I wouldn't want anyone to ask me the reasons why I'm crying either. There's a suitable moment for telling them the reasons - and I'm sure that when you're crying isn't the best.

I have no problem with crying but I'm a girl so that should be normal. Still, I've built my 'tough girl' reputation so I don't think any of my friends have seen me crying.

Oh yeah, only once when I had a death in the family and I went over to my friend's house for comfort
