I've heard that too about Panic. Not a lot of people are a fan of his voice. He and the guy from Fall Out Boy sound almost exactly alike though.

I have to disagree with you that emo is bad.. good examples of emo as a great genre are Silverstein, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Jimmy Eat World, etc, etc, etc...

Sorry I'm not a fan of those bands you just mentioned lol. The only decent emo I can think of is underOATH, and I only like them because their lyrics are so spiritual.

Haha, i'm not a fan of them either but their music is great.. and i LOOOOve underoath but they're not emo. They're a Christian band, exactly a Christian metalcore band. If you like them i recommend you the song "Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape" is about Jesus actually. It starts slow and ends you know great!

Yeah I have "Define the Great Line" but I'll have to check out their other stuff too.

 

I don't listen to a lot of metalcore, just Demon Hunter and sometimes As I Lay Dying and underOATH lol.

I hate emos with a passion and i hate panic at the disco with a passion too and after watching that vid of them playing karma police, i hate them even more, they shall suffer my wrath! :evil:

They've kind of re-invented themselves.. not too shabby. I'm not going to spit hate at band that is trying new things. Also I came across their cover of Karma Police on Youtube. Not really my cuppa tea but at least you know they listen to good music. haha.

I adore both their albums. I enjoy listening to coldplay and incubus alot, But at times I like the poppy catchy stuff. Panic just puts me in a good mood. To hate a band because of who they are I find pathetic. Unless they murder someone or promote something that is wrong.. than I understand. But these guys are doing what they love to do.. make music. Some enjoy it some dont. That goes for anyband. There is people out there who probably hate coldplay's music. *hopefully they dont hate the people of coldplay..lol*

 

But yeah, I like Panic. there new album is pretty different though.

Ive always adored panic. This is from their new cd, and the guitarist sings it. I just adore it. There new album is nice to listen to. aside from a few songs.

the singers voice isnt too bad...nowhere near as bad as the lead singer of "vampire weekend"'s voice...hsi voice makes me want to strangle him...in a nice way though :D

I fucking hate Panic at the Disco, jesus christ they are horrible!. HORRIBLE!! I read some Rolling Stone interview about their new album and one of them said something about just discovering The Beatles or something. HOW THE FUCK DO YOU JUST DISCOVER THE BEALTES! Their new album is even worse crap, now they're trying to be something they never could be. It's just bad imitation
