So, I've decided that I will stay for his part of the show after Lisa is done.

 

Can anyone suggest any songs for me to listen to so I can get into the Jason Mraz groove?

YAY!!! Ok.. Some good songs to look out for.. "I'm yours" of course... but that probably won't happen until later on in the show. I just saw him recently in Cabazon and he started off w/ the song that made him popular, "The Remedy"..... I'm pretty sure you'll get hooked in pretty quick. Besides being really cute :) He's got some awesome horns playing and some gospel singers! Dynamo of Volition is a good one. It's where he's rapping in the beginning. :)

I had the same feelings about these two concerts, hahaha!

Jason was amazing (he's a gazillion times better live, and so entrentaining), but somehow I was not as excited as seeing Coldplay.

 

Perhaps it's because I've been a Coldplay fan longer (2000 vs. Mraz's since 2003). Obviously, I waited longer to see Coldplay (8 freakin' years!!!!). Even though they both came to Tampa on 2005, I had no money for tickets back then.

 

This year couldn't end better: Coldplay on Nov 7th, and Jason Mraz on Dec 4th.

^ AND you get to see Elbow the day after. How do you manage so much awesomeness at once?

^Keane, Jason Mraz and Elbow are playing on consecutive nights at The O2. It's highly unusual because most artists do more than one night there-- but not these guys so I can fit them all in over the space of a weekend.

 

I haven't got my Elbow ticket yet-- the only ones left are rafter seats so I'm going to see if I can pick one up on twickets or outside the venue on the day considering I will be in the area. My plan is to go though, all going well.
