May 14, 200620 yr You can't have a kid at the age of 7-8. Biology between humans changes by the hundreds of years, so really in no time at all. In fact the average age of puberty in girls has dropped by 2 years in the past decade, now its at 9 (I think).

May 15, 200620 yr How many girls aged 7-8 do you know that have periods? It think that what you claim is a bit far fetched' date=' regardles of changes.[/quote'] Hahaha I dont know any 7-8 year olds, and it would be incredibly weird if I knew they were having periods. But I did see a documentary about it, based in America, that traced the average age as dropping rapidly as a result of GM foods and such. My politics teacher also talked about it last year. One thing I can personally say is that girls around the age of 12-14 definately look much older. My 13 year old cousin is about 5'8 and looks about 16 years old, and so do most of her friends. It definately appears to be happening earlier.
May 15, 200620 yr How many girls aged 7-8 do you know that have periods? It think that what you claim is a bit far fetched' date=' regardles of changes.[/quote']mmmm.....I'm not really sure about this, but I think it's quite possible, I mean if we are talking about 1600 years ago, people didnt have medicine and things that make life longer so I guess their lifes were really short and if they survived that means women had kids really young, now that we have vaccines and technology we can preserve ourselves more and that means waiting for kids, it's true that puberty happens sooner now, but that's mainly because of society.
May 15, 200620 yr OMG the girls is frkng mad !!! boy when i was 11 i still liked barbies ........creeepyy me too :cheesy: how can that girl drink and smoke at 11 :shocked2: and then she has a baby :stunned: that's just crazy!!! and her mother didn't see this coming....and on top of this she's even proud... well at least that girl has some suport :\ still,in my country that just doesn't happen....i saw that in other countries it's even normal for girls to have babys at about 13 or so but here the minimum i think it's 15 :\ it's a crazy world.....
May 15, 200620 yr That's healthy........................you should be proud of it! barbie rules !!! well at least for nine year olds :P :laugh4:
May 16, 200620 yr that'd be this thread then? :P http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=30328 seeing as though this one's more popular, I'll shut the other one
May 18, 200620 yr Thats just stupid' date=' charging the guy with rape.[/quote'] not at all. he broke the law. I just wish they'd charge people for having underage sex more often. What's the use in having a law to protect children if its not going to get used? If you knew you were actually going to get punished and/or get a criminal record it might actually do something about the teenage pregnancy rates in this country.
May 18, 200620 yr How many girls aged 7-8 do you know that have periods? It think that what you claim is a bit far fetched' date=' regardles of changes.[/quote'] well i'm 16 and i know about 5 or so friends who actually first got their periods when they were 9. but that was considered early at the time. the average-ish age was about 11-14. and since it's been 7 years, the age would have dropped again since then. the average would be around 9 now, and consequently there would be people who get them early, say 7-8 year olds. it's possible you know.

May 18, 200620 yr ^16 If people in this country were more open about sex, the teenage pregnancy rate would be lower.
May 18, 200620 yr So they were both under the age of consent. thats sexist then, the girl is just as responsible as the boy....i think its like that in america too, they seem to be anti-male.
May 18, 200620 yr Author So they were both under the age of consent. thats sexist then' date=' the girl is just as responsible as the boy....i think its like that in america too, they seem to be anti-male.[/quote'] You have a point there. If they were both under-age and both "consenting" they should have both been punished, or neither - otherwise it's unjust.
May 18, 200620 yr Thats how i see it. because if they both consented to it, they are equally to blame.
