May 17, 200620 yr the most boring part of the match I was all eyes for it...then people decided to call like a billion times making impossible for me to watch Barca's 2 goals. Fuck Congrats
May 17, 200620 yr congrats to Arsenal, they have a great team, even if they lost...but Barca really deserved it, no doubts that they play the best football in the world at the moment... thank you Barca! 2-1
May 17, 200620 yr Well played Barca and thank you Henrik!!! Celtic do not have to qualify now!!! Well done!!! :D
May 17, 200620 yr Author Arse-nal did play a good game... but in the end.. the champions prevailed... :)
May 17, 200620 yr No - the ref prevailed. He was dreadful................................... :veryangry2:
May 17, 200620 yr The only thing he blew for Barca was Ronaldinho. If you know what I mean. Well Ronaldinho's performance was almost as bad as the ref's!!:P
May 17, 200620 yr Henrik wat a man He definitely made a difference - he was far more effective than Ronald!!
May 18, 200620 yr What an exciting game... Congratulations to Barcelona! They really deserve the cup! :) I'm so sorry for Lehmann... :( He was so disappointed in the studio after the game. Unfortunately Barcas first goal was offside... but it was a nice evening!

Unfortunately Barcas first goal was offside... but it was a nice evening! No it wasn't - the ref ruined the match as a spectacle. He should have let Lehmann stay on and given Barca the goal. The match would have been entertaining then.:veryangry:
May 18, 200620 yr Yes! even I am happy that Barcelona won! Aww...poor Lehmann.... My dad and me couldn't stop laughing when he got the red card....we both don't like him.....he's so arrogant! I'm not that into football......but I can say that Arsenal was not very likeable for me....haha...
May 18, 200620 yr What a great game I felt sorry for Arsenal in the end, even though I wanted barca to win... however at the end of the day the best team won.

May 18, 200620 yr Some arsenal players played the best game of the lives.... I will admit. Cambell and cole both had a great game of which they can carry forward to the world cup. However some of the barca players did not play so great, Ronilnildo was made to play pretty deep in parts of the game....

True - Campbell and Cole both played well, and Ronaldinho failed to live up to all the hype. It was the ref who had the biggest impact, though..............................:veryangry:
May 18, 200620 yr Arsenal should be contented with being runners-up. Actually they've done exceptionally well in the Champions League, and playing the final itself is a huge success for the team and a happy ending for the season.
May 18, 200620 yr Henry was left to ponder his future Arsenal captain Thierry Henry was disgusted with referee Terje Hauge's display as his side's Champions League hopes were ended by Barcelona in Paris. Henry told BBC Sport: "We haven't got anything out of the final, despite all our hard work. "I was kicked all over the place. I expected the referee to do his job. I don't think he did." Henry also reacted angrily when asked about his future: "Listen, let's talk about some proper questions." The Frenchman, who was fuming after the game, also felt Samuel Eto's equaliser should have been disallowed for offside. We can be more than proud but I'm sorry, some of the refereeing was horrendous Thierry Henry "I'm not usually a troublemaker, but I've just seen the television and Eto'o's goal was offside. "It was always going to difficult to play Barcelona. But with 10 men that is almost impossible. "Jens probably deserved to be sent off - there is nothing to be said about that. But in the first half Rafael Marquez and Carles Puyol went right through me and they didn't even get a yellow. "Then I got the ball in front of the bench and Mark Van Bommel kicks me and I end up getting a yellow." Henry added: "When you see Eto'o is offside it kills you. It kills you because you've been defending and running. "I was dead after an hour. I was trying to do some stuff when Alex Hleb gave me that amazing ball, I tried to go as far as I could and hit the ball, but I just couldn't. "It's just sad. You can lose, but to lose like that. "I tried to do what I could and try and defend and try and bring the ball back and help the team, but if they allow an offside goal it is going to be even more difficult. "Everyone was talking about Ronaldinho before the game. I didn't see him today and I didn't see Eto'o," he said. "Henrik Larsson made the difference by setting up two goals. That was the key. "We can be proud, we can be more than proud, but, I'm sorry, some of the refereeing today was horrendous."
May 18, 200620 yr Another slap in the face for British football :dozey: exactly...Arse-nal had no chances. Henry should leave them and come to Barca if he wants to win something...
