Ivors mean nothing to noone anyway, they are just useless awards presented to people who can't win real awards. Any awards show with anything to do with Shane Ward in is a joke.

"Ivor" feeling you're spot on with that one, Alan!!;)

I heard the prestigious Ivors are the ones everyone wants.

Except for Eric Clapton, of course. He isn't "interested" in awards, apparently!;)

Coming from you Alan, that's high praise indeed!

Glad you feel that way MC. You've impressed Partridge with your posts so far and your slowing becoming one of Alan's favourites.

This is from The Sun:

GUY BERRYMAN and JONNY BUCKLAND from COLDPLAY turned up at the do for an afternoon drinking session without bandmate CHRIS MARTIN.

Guy explained: “Chris is feeling quite run down. It’s not easy coming back so tired after a tour and having a newborn baby to deal with.”

There must be something in the water on Coldplay’s tour bus — WILL CHAMPION became a dad recently and Guy’s wife is pregnant too. I hope Jonny’s taking adequate precautions.

Which is a bit of a weird thing to say since Will has a newborn baby too  Lies from Guy me thinks.

they should take a break...2 years i say

Well it's quite likely Chris is run down - he's been on tour, come straight back to having a newborn baby and also just got back from a quick trip to LA... he must be knackered. Will didn't go either so I guess he and Chris are having 'baby' time off. Maybe we'll see more of Guy and Jonny for the time being - which is no dad thing! :)

The line about Jonny taking precautions is quite funny! :laugh3:
