I bought a great bumper sticker yesterday at Newbury Comics that says in big writing:

1.20.09

then really small:

The End Of Bush.

I love it.

the end of bush the beginning of the next republican president....

Who here is unlucky enough to be living in the USA!!!

lmaooooooooooooooooooooo.

Nick, I love how you see the future! Please, tell me if I'm going to pass or fail my exams next week! Oh, and while you're at it, what am I having for breakfast tomorrow morning?

Whooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooa............

:stunned:

ACT an australian territory and where the capital is situated

wanted to pass same sex marriage but the government is moving to put a

stop to this.

So ACT is moving quickly to get it passed before the government bans it

was he right??? you had a banana and milk??? :stunned:

no, since i told her she changed and had frosted flakes with a glass of orange juice.

^bunnmer.

--I'm glad this got nixed... but unfortunately.. like Nick pointed out.... amendments get rejected many times before they actually become 'amended'... so, we're not out of the woods yet.

I hope this idea doesn't make it. Seriously... I would consider moving if it did.

Actually, I had a turkey sandwich. Yes, for breakfast.

Took even me by surprise.

I hope gay marriage is banned... at least in my state.

And bananas and milk never mix well in my opinion.

I hope all of marriage gets banned.

Like Stephen Colbert said, it's better to not let ANYONE get married then have the wrong people doin' it! :smug:

1. An economy that's going to hell in a Free Trade Handbasket.

2. Thousands dying in Iraq.

3. Nuclear disputes with Iran.

4. Everything else that's wrong with America today...

You'd think Dubya has more important things to think about than gay marriage...unless, of course, he needs to bring out the Religious Right vote in an election year...

Hmmmmmm.......

I completely agree. It's so blatantly obvious that our government is getting into a tivvy about this old standby "hot button issue". People have shown that they are mindfucked and complacent about the war, totally indifferent. So what do the Republicans and Democrats have to do? Instill the fear that the American ideals are not JUST on attack from overseas, but RIGHT HERE!!!!

The gays are soooo scary, gasp! God Almighty, they must not get their equal rights! They're attacking our American society's ideals. Let's all forget that these queers are Americans too.... :uhoh: God forbid anyone go against the social norm!

I've shared my thoughts on this, I don't feel like rehashing them. If anything makes me most angry, it's this subject. It's absolutely RIDICULOUS to even discuss, and it makes me want to spit to think that the media, government and indeed the society as a whole is making this a huge deal. Get the hell over it and give the people their equal rights. What ever happened to the division between Church and State?

Oh, that's right. Bush made his own ammendment allowing him to shove his religion down everyone's throats for his own ballot benefit.

The economy is doing great, the iraq war isnt like the media says it is, nuclear disputes with iran is a world problem, not just the US's.

Fair enough. I never make it a point to believe everything I hear or read in the news...But I do make it a point to trust my friends and I have 2 serving in Iraq and 1 in Afghanistan, and if anything, the war is worse than is portrayed in the media.

And you're right. Iran IS a world problem. I'm not blaming the US for all things evil. I'm just saying there are far more important concerns than who loves and wants to marry whom.

See thats a major difference, the people i know in iraq say otherwise.

but i agree, you're right there are more pressing issues to deal with then marriage. and i dont think we should ban gay marriage either.

the DOW opened up -110 pts the other day... the lowest since 9/11, and the economy is doing great.

ok
