I dunno if it has been done before, but I wanted to know what Coldplay changes in your life.

 

For me, Coldplay changes my way to see the world.

Chris is someone I want to look like through his actions, and his look:D ...

Now I know that I've got someone to believe in...

As we all know it, Coldplay is not only Chris, I want to play guitar...as Jonny do...:thinking: well...er...I think about it...

I really know what to be a fan means: thinking about them everyday, about where they are, what do they do...

Now, instead of designing cars, I'm writing poems...:laugh3:

 

I'm not always on the net, so I could see what you write only in the evening...

 

And you...What does Coldplay change in your life?

because of coldplay i started to play guitars.:) and made me famous with the world know band http://www.redredlight.be lol

 

And because of their music you look things different.

Coldplay makes you a nice guy I guess

They make me a better person. Their music gives me peace of mind and trust. (hih...but it's true) :) :) :)

coldplay gives me this nice peace of mind. like i can think of them whenever during the day and it makes me happy. the same with the beatles and U2, but coldplay perhaps more than the others because a) theyre all alive and b) theyre younger than U2, and i think i can relate to them better.

 

coldplay also made me get into modern music more, because i only used to listen to classic rock where most of the band members were either really old or dead. so now i can have crushes on guys that are currently young and good looking and making music, rather than pretending paul mccartney and george harrison are 22 again. now i listen to many more modern bands.

 

theres probably a bunch more, ill get back when i think of those:)

they just make me smile no matter what is happening around me... and for me that's too much.

I can relate what I feel trough their lyrics and music..

Wich is very usefull when I'm feeling sad..

I don't know.. I just admire them so much!

They've become a part of me somehow :)

This is a great question. When I listened to Coldplay for the first time, I discovered that you can get all the little things in your life have a big meaning. With Coldplay I learn to love the good music, the lonely nights, the good moments and how the music can be like a food, like a special need. And, of course, Coldplay is my ideal for life. Chris makes beautiful songs and plays cool, and the other guys are so cute. It's amazing to see how a band (and four guys) can be a part of yourself. And how they can feel the same things that you feel. It's amazing and exciting. Atenea_Brit

I feel like two of the posters above have already said: It makes me happy when I think of them and their music. Whenever I feel bad or gutted, I just listen to their songs and feel good again. It makes me think of the great things in life and that bad times pass and good times will come again.

 

In addition, I owe my FANTASTIC (haha) music taste to Coldplay, as I got to other British bands through them. After Coldplay I started listening to Radiohead, Oasis and all these brilliant bands and by just listening to the albums I love, my life is much better than it used to be :D

coldplay change my life a lot.. before i know them i dont know anything about technology stuff, when i download their songs, i learn to use rapidshare, and winrar, and those things.. their songs makes me.. uh a lot happier. and they introduced me to some great musics too, like arcade fire. chris especially who mentioned them. and those bands that coldplay likes, i like, i dont know why! i cant explain anything else. i just have less life since i knew this board and this board definitely change my life too.

They made me play cello better than i ever had played before...i'm so happy about it :) And pretty much everything that has been said before :P

When I feel like falling apart CP puts me back together, holds me and makes me happy. They fix me. (mygosh, I gotta stop talking in clichés, but I've had a shitty week, so that's fine :P :D)

No band has come close to making the impact on me that Coldplay have. I like everything about them.

^ It's the same with me. They have a huge impact on my life. I spend time on this message board every day, my walls are filled with posters, I spend a LOT of money for CDs, merchandising and all that stuff - damn if I'd calculate all the money I spent on CDs, vinyls, EPs and just magazines, I'd punch myself for being so stupid ;) But well.. For the first time ever, a band seems WORTH IT to me =)

Anyway, Coldplay is the only band I actually CARE about. I have a ton of other bands that I love and listen to constantly, but Coldplay is like...my being. This sounds so stupid and cheesy, but I become instantly happier when I think of Coldplay. :)

I've played guitar for years and listening to Chris got me back into playing piano and arranging songs in new and different ways. I don't sound like them, but they're a huge musical influence. When they first came out, there wasn't alot of REAL music out there, not in the mainstream anyway.

 

Also, I wouldn't have survived some really bad relationship issues without 'A Rush Of Blood'. That album got me through some really hard times.

If not for going to see Coldplay, I'd never have heard Ash, Black Mountain, The Music or Goldfrapp. They have great taste in support bands!

their music is truly moving, speaks to me, and is as if i wrote it. thanks to coldplay i've made it through most tragedies in my life, most i found them unbereable. coldplay just reminds me that pain is part of life, and the most important part is to find the beauty in even the simplest things.
