typical german goal i'd say, last minute, pass from a flank...and the "center" finishes the attack...but to be honest i still don't think the quality of their game's improved, they definitely will need more in the KO round

It can be argued that England would still have won even without that goal. The scores were level at the time.

Anyway, since then England have been very unlucky in tournaments (Maradona's "hand of God goal", penalty shoot-outs etc.), whereas it could be argued that for Germany, it has been the complete opposite!!;)

The reaction has been completely over the top. After tonight's win, there were fireworks in the sky. Anybody would think they'd already won the whole tournament, not just a match against an "ordinary" team!:P

well....I don't mind that...because this euphoria will affect the team..and motivate them.....that makes me also happy...

and at least we can say we had a great event and celebration with people from all over the world...

actually I sometimes get the impression as if we always do the wrong thing...

usually Germans are known for being serious and maybe more pessimistic...

 

and in this world cup.....we show some kind of optimism...and we show our flag!And this is a thing we don't know here....

usually if we show our german flag we think deep in our mind we have to be ashamed....
