June 14, 200620 yr Very lucky. In a way I'm happy, because no matter who England play assuming we win the group, they will dominate the stadium v Ecuador or CR. It could not have been a better result for ENG.
June 14, 200620 yr typical german goal i'd say, last minute, pass from a flank...and the "center" finishes the attack...but to be honest i still don't think the quality of their game's improved, they definitely will need more in the KO round
June 14, 200620 yr Did you see the match? 2,000 German and Polish fans fought with police before the match!!:stunned: There's no way you can criticise England fans after THAT!;)
June 14, 200620 yr 2,000 German and Polish fans were arrested before the match!!:stunned: There's no way you can criticise England fans after THAT!;) Does this answer my question?

It's typical!
June 14, 200620 yr Does this answer my question? What do you have to say about "your" hooligans??
June 14, 200620 yr They always get lucky. It's typical! well, yes...maybe though the 66's final is another story, who was lucky then?
June 14, 200620 yr Ok you didn't see the match:nice: Yeah of course they always are just "lucky"....strange because even the most pessimistic commentators (eg Günter Netzer) are happy about this match:thinking:
June 14, 200620 yr Come on...their defenisve definitely has improved...even I see that!:p this defence already had good matches in the Klinsmann era, but it was mixed with very poor ones. i still think the quality of defenders isn't the best. especially if we compare them to the heroes of the past
June 14, 200620 yr Ok you didn't see the match:nice: Yeah of course they always are just "lucky"....strange because even the most pessimistic commentators (eg Günter Netzer) are happy about this match:thinking: And the hooligans destroying Dortmund?

June 14, 200620 yr i'd say Germans are the best to make goals from nowhere actually it's "only" the group stage so it's not necessary to give 100%. 2 games - 6 points couldn't have been done better ;) so good for you

June 14, 200620 yr well, yes...maybe though the 66's final is another story, who was lucky then? It can be argued that England would still have won even without that goal. The scores were level at the time. Anyway, since then England have been very unlucky in tournaments (Maradona's "hand of God goal", penalty shoot-outs etc.), whereas it could be argued that for Germany, it has been the complete opposite!!;)
June 14, 200620 yr Hehhe...so thanks at least for these positive words!:nice: I just think that this euphoria about all this will grow....haha...I don't know if this is possible... so I want to see more german matches.... The reaction has been completely over the top. After tonight's win, there were fireworks in the sky. Anybody would think they'd already won the whole tournament, not just a match against an "ordinary" team!:P

Anybody would think they'd already won the whole tournament, not just a match against an "ordinary" team!:P[/quote'] well....I don't mind that...because this euphoria will affect the team..and motivate them.....that makes me also happy... and at least we can say we had a great event and celebration with people from all over the world... actually I sometimes get the impression as if we always do the wrong thing... usually Germans are known for being serious and maybe more pessimistic... and in this world cup.....we show some kind of optimism...and we show our flag! And this is a thing we don't know here.... usually if we show our german flag we think deep in our mind we have to be ashamed.... for me all this gives me a weird feeling...not in a negative way...no.. but maybe you can understand all this only if you are a German!

I don't have a problem with the flag-waving - but there's no need for fireworks at this stage!!
June 14, 200620 yr I don't have a problem with the flag-waving - but there's no need for fireworks at this stage!! Yeah-maybe this is exaggerated...I also won't do this now....I only would do it after the final...but who cares? If they want to...they should do it...
June 14, 200620 yr Yeah-maybe this is exaggerated...I also won't do this now....I only would do it after the final...but who cares? If they want to...they should do it... Well in my opinion it's a sign of arrogance and extreme over-confidence!;)
June 14, 200620 yr Well in my opinion it's a sign of arrogance and extreme over-confidence!;) It's only one case....I don't know how they mean it...but I won't interprete it as arrogance... more as happiness! Because our team didn't play arrogant....compared to other teams! for example the fact how happy they are about their goals...etc...they know they have to fight... however I'm done here!
June 14, 200620 yr shoot, with that kinda goal i would've set off every firework within a 5 mile radius!!!! absolutely brill goal and a fantastic game by both poland and germany
