June 9, 200620 yr True....he played a big role in these defensive faults!I hope Klinsi will sort this out! anyway....you'llwin the gruop but you need the referees to reach the semifinals!!!!!!:D
June 9, 200620 yr 4:2 !!! What an interesting game! Some facts... Miroslav Klose = Football God (I always said it before!)Phillipp Lahm's goal (dream goal!!!)Torsten Frings (another amazing goal)At least 3 goals of players playing for Werder Bremen :wink3: Ok, the defense wasn't good (Lehmann also had an injury), but the referee neither. Ecuador's second goal was offside! A good referee MUST see it! But it wasn't an easy game for the German squad, because the whole nation celebrate this tournament. Anyway, I'm content with that game. It reminds me of the Confederations Cup last year. It felt so nice when Germany scored the goals. All neighbours were screaming. Later we had a great barbecue with all family members, it was a sunny day and now there is just an incredible sunset again. Nice day! :nice: I just watched the first half of Poland-Ecuador. I said it before... for me Ecuador is my favourite in group A to reach the next round. They bet Brazil and Argentinia during World Cup qualification, although it took place 4000 meters above NN. I'm looking forward to see Ecuador-Germany in Berlin in two weeks. :wink3:

June 9, 200620 yr I wish I could 'see' the game....... I'm only listening on a simulcast via an Argentinian radio station.
June 9, 200620 yr Berrywoman, why can't you watch the games? I think ESPN2 and ABC are showing World Cup matches in the United States or is it Pay-TV? Well, there is a Serbian tv-station called RTS1 and RTS2 (which was bombed by the NATO in 1999 by the way) and they will broadcast some matches in the internet. For more information click... http://presretac.rts.co.yu/ Great game of Ecuador, they played very well. But I'm a bit sad, because I've some Polish colleagues at work and they were so optimistic before the game. :(
June 9, 200620 yr Ecuador!!!!!!!!! We are really sweet Up next tomorrow Paraguay's turn to represent the CONMEBOL They are going to kill the English

June 9, 200620 yr ohh I'd pick the beach over footy any day as well!!! ;) Great choice! I can't believe it... the World Cup started today! It's so nice! I saw a lot of foreigners the last few days, especially Swedish people. ^^
June 10, 200620 yr What did Ruud say? I missed the game. The quality of the whole game was poor, german attacking was 'ok' (they scored 4 goals!), he wants to see pure football being played etc. I wonder if he was ever reminded that Holland, despite their 'stars', never won the world cup.
June 10, 200620 yr Poor Poland, heh. I know it's much time till the match, but still... Go, Swedeeeeeen!!!
June 10, 200620 yr Today, Nelson Valdez (Werder Bremen) will kick England's ass! :P Ok, not really, my bet is 3:1. ;) But it's sooooo hot here in Germany. I think it's an advantage for Paraguay.
June 10, 200620 yr 1 hour and a bit til kick-off, the drinks are cooling in the fridge, there is enough ice in the freezer, the weather is sunny in north-west hampshire. The new muse album sounds good, The bbc radio 2 comedy hour is on in 5 minutes. What a lovely saturday, but think of those lucky sods, stuck on the island of wight.
June 10, 200620 yr Wow, yesterday over 20 million people watched Germany-Costa Rica at ZDF! :o Not considered are people who watched that game on Premiere (Pay-TV) and people of "Public Viewing". Premiere Only one hour until England-Paraguay. I will watch the first half, then the beach is waiting.. :nice:
