Speed Addiction

Featured Replies

No, not the white dust, I'm talking cars. Do you drive really fast? Have you done so in the past?

Why is it lately that I need to be bouncing down a road at 100mph or I'm just not happy?

It feels like Im not living if I'm driving at ridiculous speeds. Whats worse is that I dont even realise I'm doing it anymore. Earlier I was having a casual conversation with someone, driving on a straight, and in the middle of my sentence they just said "What the hell are you doing?!" and before knowing it, I was going 120 on not even realising it.

I dont drive fast when other people are in the car, unless I dont realise it.

I dont know what happened to my attitude, I used to look at fast drivers and think "Fucking gimp... whats the point?" but now, I just cant help it when I'm in a car by myself.

Maybe its because I've recently given up some actual addictions

Hey, lay off the asians man. :P

Anyways, I can't really relate to what you're talking about Reilly, since it's still a while 'til I can drive.

You would understand it if you were over here...no offense but most of them cannot drive,i mean some of them even drive on the wrong side of the road.I have had about 4 hit my car when it was not my fault. One time my car was parked on the road, and he rearended me!!!!

Where you live. :P Here usually old asian people drive slow.

At least here, everyone drives fast. It's southern california. :P

I don't have a car and ave no idea how to drive for that matter, but I guess driving at high speed would be a unique rush of excitement. I wouldn't do it myself though, I'm a wuss

Driving fast is so much fun. There's just no rush like flooring it when a light turns. It's just a different kind of addiction.

i love driving fast... usually when im all alone. i just turn the music really loud, relax and hit the gas...

....and hit the nearest tree....

I have had about 4 hit my car when it was not my fault.

If the number is that high I get the inkling that you may have slightly contributed to some of them.

No not at all sam!!!

:veryangry2:

:sneaky:

Yep I drive too fast, I just can't drive at 30mph however hard I try it's just toooooooooo sloooooooooooooooow. I tend to drive at 40 in busy areas and 50 or 60 everywhere else.

I love driving on a motorway at night though, hardly any other traffic about. My car won't do 100 though :embarassed:

I'm quite an angry driver too....old drivers annoy the fuck out of me (I know it's not all, but most) when they're too nervous to drive fast than 25mph it really annoys me. Esp if it's a fast road.

If you're not confident enough to drive to at least the limit then you should not be driving! Esp when I'm the one stuck behind you

LMFAO your car wont do a hundred??

What is it a Fiat Bambina????

Oh shut up. :P ;)

I was only 17 when I passed my test, if I got a huge big fast car how much do you think my insurance would of been? Hmm? Hmm? It was already £800.

I got a small car to bring down my insurance...so there.

Ah yes, the auld "sunday drivers" as we call them here. On the occassions where I have been driving, yes I've gone faster than the limits which really annoyed my sister seeing as it was her car and I only have my provisional license....

Haha don't apologise....was just telling you why :D

Since I can't really talk about myself cuz of the fact that I can't drive.... hm...

my dad is a crazy ass driver.

He gets me to school in 10 minutes. Every day. No exceptions. :uhoh: He knows every possible shortcut you can take to my school. And he always drives in the old stick shift Toyota Tacoma... I tried to eat my breakfast on the way to school once and I completely **** myself. I swear I've almost gotten into 10 or more accidents while I was in the car with him, and I've been in two (which weren't his fault, heh).

And according to my dad, yellow doesn't mean slow down. It means speed up.

And when there's someone driving slow infront of us, if there's an empty lane on either side (the oposite side also), he'll pass right in front.

Amazingly, I've never witnessed my dad get a ticket.

It's crazy.

I usually drive too fast, as well (I can see, the majority here does! :wideeyed: )

But not as much as you do, Reilly, because I'm still in trial period and I'll loose my license when being caught driving faster than 20 km/h above the limit.

So I usually drive exactly 20 km/h too fast, that's quite enough in the city, though. Speaking of highways in Germany we're fortunately allowed to drive as fast as we want so I drive as fast as my car can go (about 160 km/h) ... kinda nice feeling :nice:

So what do you drive then Rick?

I drive a 1995 Nissan Skyline GT-R

oh yeah, we don't take the Toyota Tacoma around anymore... my dad drives this expensive son of a b**** that we don't need. :laugh3:

Is 40mph in built up areas considered fast? I know its still speeding, but everyone drives that fast
