When you really need help looking for something, ask but be diplomatic. "Mom, did you see my ___ around?" "No, why?" "Oh, I missplaced it and haven't found it yet. It ought to be around here somewhere... just wondering-don't worry (*yet* :rolleyes: )"

 

And then she doesn't freak out for having lost it...because I make it sound like by asking her I'm only trying to save a bit of time.

 

It'll turn up... just try to remember the places you used it last.

Alyssa......at the Isle of Wight festival I nearly had a mental breakdown.

During the Prodigy...people were being really violent, my bags zip broke and my camera FELL OUT. I was like SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was searching all over the floor....thank fooking gawwwd my friend Kaz found it. I reckon it was divine intervention. I CANT BELIEVE I NEARLY LOST IT BEFORE COLDPLAY!!! and it was a really expensive camera. THANK GAWWWD!

lost tickets to a concert just as i was about to leave-turned the house over in a panic and finally found them!

that's why I don't like my parents borrowing certain things although I let them you have to stress that it's important.
