Chris Martin angered members of the Foo Fighters' camp at the Isle of Wight festival.

 

Tensions over the billing at the Fuji Rocks festival in 2005 continued last weekend, leading to Martin being branded a "cry baby".

 

"Comments were made by Chris and it's really hacked off some of the Foos people," a source told the Daily Star. "Apparently he mentioned something about the billing again and he was seen as being a bit precious. Now he's being referred to as a 'cry baby' and a 'bit of a tosser' by several people in the Foos camp.

 

"There's some really bad feeling towards him there. As they see it, he's in one of the biggest bands in the world yet he still makes a point of noticing who's band is where on the bill."

Apparently Chris kicked up a fuss about the billing and who was the highest and hacked off the people in the Foo Fighters camp.

He tends to mention other bands a little to often for my liking. On the flipside I don't rate the Foos so its all alright :cool3:

what exactly did chris say about the billing? like was it something bad against the foos? weren't they headlining as well anyway?

And he never mentioned anything about the Foos.....only during Politik when he said "Give me the Prodigy, Foo fighters, give me thissssssss" (i think that's what he said)

i even think he didn't mention them in politik,but maybe...

 

this is a total bs, they're really good friends.

And Will and the Foo's are friends...not really Chris though. Dave has made negative comments about him before.

 

I'm not saying it's true...just that you shouldn't rule out the possibility...Chris isn't the saint y'all think he is. No-one is!

The Daily Star.. of course. Chris really likes the Foos, I remember he mentioned them (and sang a bit of Best of You) in the Fuji Rock Fest as well.. I doubt he'd do something like that and especially to a band he respects?

 

And Mimixxx when did Dave say negative things about Chris? I've never heard of that.. and I hope it isn't true, since it'd make Dave a bit of a hypocrite. I have quite a few pics of him with Chris and it doesn't fit the part that he'd bash him. Why hang out with him then? :confused:

i was a big confused by this as i thought coldplay and the foo's were mutual friends,i mean i remember they all said they really liked grohl once in an interview.hmm well dont know whether it is true or not....but well...i can imagine chris being a bit full of himself...if that is what the article was implying

a friend of mine who likes foo fighters said once dave grohl HATES chris...when she told me i was like: "whaaat?? but they're friends i've seen pictures of them together and stuff" and she said: "yeah but he said not so nice stuff about him..."

Oh lord, who knows what was really going on.. On a hot day at a strenuous festival, lots of things can be misunderstood and the mood can heat up, so who cares ^^ As a lot of you have already said, Dave and Chris are good friends, so I don't think it's anything too serious or worrying..

So he photographs with Chris and then turns around and badmouths him? I didn't think Dave Grohl was like that.. :confused:

 

 

 

And didn't Chris invite Dave on their private jet once? Remember that story? Something about Dave being thrilled that he was invited but didn't like the veggie menu or something.. :lol:
