how to get it off???

Featured Replies

well..have you ever had a crush on someone for years..???and if you do..how do you actually get him/her off of your mind...

well, imagine this..u met a guy/gurl..and you're attracted to him/her...then you

both became friends...years later, u grow matured and finally decide to tell him/her the truth..you gave a hint...u flirt a little..but there's no response..he/she have a slight idea that u fancy him/her...now he/she wont even talk to you...u decided to back off..and let your broken heart healed in this cruel world...but how do you actually get that person off your mind..???

give me some ideas here...i'm going out of my mind...

well, it happened to me ... kinda in the way you described your situation (i guess).

how did i get over him?

mhhh ... i first decided to get over him because i didn't want him to control my messed up life.

i stopped looking at him and started ignoring him.

i counted all the bad things about him and i recognised that there are a lot more bad things about him than good things.

and just do other things ...don't listen to love songs or songs that deal with the cruelty of this world.

A guy I knew I could never have in the end....I just made myself realise it could never happen. So I just kept that in my mind, and eventually....slowly stopped thinking about him. A little different from your situation but I guess it could still apply.

hahaha...the worst is that when i was in process of forgetting him...i dreamt of him last night...

suckss.....

big time......

yup...i have liked someone for ages......and its been on and off..try and forget them..it works...then it somehow returns...and you are left trying to forget it all over again

You have to try and occupy your time with something else.

I'm currently kinda getting over someone. She wasnt a big love in my life or anything but since my last 'big love' situation she was the only pure and genuine girl I had met in a year, and I guess she was just kinda neat and fresh, and got stuck in my head.

It doesnt help that she contacts me regularly as a friend, just to chat.

My plan is by finding other girls, just to have a bit of fun, to keep texting and talking to, just to keep my mind off this one. Its not really working out though, anytime I feel like actually asking out a nice girl, I always kinda stop myself, and I dont know why.

But really I think you should try and find others, to occupy your time.

Well I'm not much help... I just tried not to think about him (with varying success) until several years later when he graduated from highschool and got married. That kind of put an end to things.

Just put it to the back of your mind and move on to other things, fancying another person says the person who hasn't really ever had a girlfriend;)

its kinda the crush that u deeply fall in love with and will never have him...

man..this sucks

once i had a crush on this guy so i asked him out and he said no, that was the end of that and i instantly got over it

I know its hard, but you are going to have to be brave and move on. Your just killing yourself otherwise.

I know I know, you cant just 'repress' your thoughts, but I beg to differ! You cant do it instantly but if you keep trying to think of more calming things when you get emotional over him, and look at things in broader horizons and the irrelevance of this situation in the long run, well, you'll get past this dude (Thats all he is, a dude, not your life)

Good luck.

:disappointed: i thought the same too.

as for wawie_shaz, he didn't reciprocate the feelings, so get the nice fluffy image of him, out of your head. and just think of him as not worth your time, if he's stopped speaking to you because you like him, then he's not worth it, you will find someone else.

Well hes married now innit?

Just forget about it, dear

No wait, I think I mis-read something or got confused.

Hes not married, innit?

Well, then, I dont know. Gahck!
