An unbelieveable two nights!!!

Yeah it was awesome! Trouble was an awesome suprise.

Went to Sat, such a fantastic night. Enjoyed so much.

Did it seem a short set to you? not complaining though. . . it was good!

it was fantastic and i loved in my place live...sad that they dropped swallowed by the sea but trouble was good to

sydney set last night (monday) was the same as brisbane's first night i think.

 

i don't like my chances but i'm hoping that tonight or wed they play "how you see the world" - it's been played occasionally on the american shows, and if they're doing three nights in the same city, surely there has to be a bit of variation in the set!

I'm sure the concerts are fantastic, but playing the same set two or three nights in a row in the same city is pretty weak. The 16 songs they're doing right now are solid, and should be played every night...but why not have 2-3 extra songs that are rotated and thrown in spontaneously from night to night. It seems they've really just settled into a groove/rhythm that they aren't willing to get out of.

 

"Flawless performance" is coming out on top vs. "imaginative performance"

 

In Vancouver, we had a 19 song setlist (How You See the World, Parachutes, X & Y, Trouble and Hardest Part all appeared).

 

But hey, they're still only 3 albums into it and I guess hearing 16 incredible songs (well, 15 actually, Ring of Fire doesn't count), without any filler, still beats almost any other concert out there.

tuesday nights, sydney, 27/06/06 was the same as the first brisbane, and the same as the first sydney... they need some new songs. but hey the concert was effing amazing nonetheless. :nice:

i was kinda bummed there was no difference in the set last night (except for the line "god give me style and give me grace, that wasn't even a penalty in the first place")
