July 8, 200619 yr the first stanza is prettier than the rest, i know Germany has history, but its not like people OTHER than people who speak German can understand it anyway!
July 8, 200619 yr Alright, the game starts in 45 minutes.. Can't wait to see which players are gonna play and how they're doing.. Hope they play as good as they can.

July 8, 200619 yr Portugal are cheating already. That was a definite handball and should have resulted in a penalty!!
July 8, 200619 yr ^ I didn't think he meant it. Though I didn't see it properly. He did - the replay showed he stuck his arm out.;)
July 8, 200619 yr True, just saw it again. Nice, open game so far. Good to see. But Portugal's cheating tactics aren't. There was a second handball and then Ronaldo did one of his famous "dives" just before half-time. Disgraceful!
July 8, 200619 yr Yes, I agree. Portugal players are cheating a lot. But seriously though... which teams don't cheat? I just don't understand one thing. Why do everyone keep calling names and offending the team? Did any of the players offended any of your teams? I just don't get that. Maybe some of you are jealous, I don't know. Truth is, Portugal is the smaller country in all aspects and look where we are. So I think we, at least, deserve some respect. This is my opinion and I'm not here to cause any conflict. So I'm sorry if I offended any of you.

So I'm sorry if I offended any of you. You're biased, because you're from Portugal. It's only natural that you can't be objective about this. Everyone can see that Portugal are cheating far more than the other teams. There have already been two handballs and a couple of Ronaldo "dives" in THIS game. I think Scolari is a big cause of this, because he appears to condone the bad behaviour. Jealousy doesn't come into it. I'd rather my team be out than acting like the Portugal players!;)
July 8, 200619 yr You have your opinion, I have mine. Do you think we have reached this far because of the cheating? What about the goals? They don't mean nothing? Yes, I don't agree with some of the immature players we have like Ronaldo. He still needs to grow up. He still has a lot to learn. But I think you are pushing this a little to far. So far, I've seen tons of threads and posts bashing Portugal. Of course, I'm biased. But when I see some players doing worse things I don't call names or offend anybody. I give my opinion with respect. And we're not getting that. That's all. End of conversation for me.

The reason there are tons of "Portugal bashing" threads is because there's no smoke without fire......................... Portugal have spoiled their good play with their cheating tactics. Anyway, it's 2-0 now, so it's game over. Justice has been done!;)

So I'm sorry if I offended any of you. We are not offending Portugal. We are not jealous. We don't say that the Portuguese team is the only team cheating. We don't say that Ronaldo is the only player diving. But we say that Portugal and especially Cristiano Ronaldo have attracted A LOT OF attention because of constant diving and cheating and it got to its highlight with the Rooney incident - not just the red card and pushing, but Ronaldo's WINKING! Because Ronaldo winking doesn't only show that Ronaldo is a diver, it means that the whole team is! It's totally natural that you defend your team, I'd do the same! But you shouldn't accuse us of being jealous or mean or whatever - you just say these things because you wanna blame someone else than your team. There must be a REASON for so many people to "offend" your team and Ronaldo. And there IS a reason, no matter if you deny it or not. And Portugal isn't the only team to be offended by the media or fans or whatever, that's bullshit! Lots of players, referees and teams have been criticised throughout the tournament, and I guess the only reason that it's (still) this hard against Portugal is the fact that they're still in the tournament playing their last game and the fact that Ronaldo got that much media attention.
July 8, 200619 yr Hahaaaa third goal :D 3:0 for Germany .. alright I guess it's over now :P And Schweinsteiger AGAIN, that's unbelievable!!

July 8, 200619 yr Yeah, well, I do support a lot of teams - my heart is with England, but there are some teams that deserve it as well :) 3:1 now, but I guess it's over anyway ;) I'm glad that Figo got his last big moment, you know, scoring a goal before ending his career :) That's fair!
