hello hello

im going to london first time of my life next week

any1 can tell me things to visit and where to go to have fun at night?

thank youuu

im so exited :P

Awww....I wanna come............

You're so lucky!

Visit the Oxford street...I've heard of it in a good sense...

Oooh you're a lucky girl, I love London :D

Well, there are so many great things you should see, I wouldn't even know where to start.. Besides all the usual sights like Buckingham Palace, the museum Tate Modern is cool (such as its museum shop, lots of wonderful art prints!), Oxford Street is a MUST, and my favourite is Covent Garden, lots of cool small shops with awesome stuff :D

By the way, you gotta visit every HMV and Virgin store on Oxford Street, they have lots of cool Coldplay stuff you probably don't find in your city: books, posters, interview CDs, stuff like that :P

im going up london on monday actually to go shopping for some bits and pieces.i mean its not rare for me...as i live close

i hope you have a great time! erm where can you go........

hampton court, oxford street, tower of london,go on a boat trip along the river, different museums like the national history museum, too many for choice.

Leire! How funny, I'll be in London next week too....and then for the next 4 weeks after that as well. :P My grandmother's there, who I'll be staying with for a month. I  London. I'm a museum nut, so I always make museum-hopping a priority on my agenda. :P

Hey, maybe I'll run into you! Stranger things have happened! :laugh4:

Leyre, if you go to Oxford Street, go there quite early in the morning or there will be too many people ;)

I agree with Flying Sparks, Covent Garden is a great place to go ! It's too bad the London Transport Museum is closed, it's really amazing ! :(

You can go nearby the "Embakment" tube station... it's close to the Thames, the London Eye, the London Aquarium... Such great places... It's where we went with Steph :nice:

I've heard Hyde Park and Saint James's Park are great places to go if you wanna have a walk... :)

^ Yeah, all good suggestions.

As for nightlife, from what I remember, Leicester Square is a fun place to be at. Any Londoners want to verify this? :P

:bigcry: I want to go there too :bigcry:

thank you sooooo much for all the places you said :D

Don't forget to take pictures and to post them :nice: !!

You'll love London Leire!! Hope you have a great time, Oxford St is a must! Also art galleries as I remember you're a designer! Theyre all free to go to too!!

If you get a chance or have any spare days, come down to Brighton (only 50mins from London by train). Theres loads and loads of good shops, also bars and clubs if you come for the night. :D

Hehe, don't go into that London Dungeon building! It's very expensive and God, it was so bad! My friends and I got stuck in the boat lol. There was no electricity for 30 minutes and you couldn't see your hands in front of your eyes, because it was so dark there without lights. Later they helped us coming out of it, but we didn't get our money back! :veryangry:

But London is really one of the best places in Europe, although it's very very expensive. ;)

I really recomend you to go and have dinner at Rainforest Café. The whole restautant looks like a rainforest with elephants, gorillas ect.(they aren't alive though :P) and a big aquarium, and the food is great :nice: I have been there twice and I like it a lot

here's a link to it where you can see the menu and all prices and read about the place

something that's free though is to grap a london map and just walk around in the nice city. You can walk along the Themes on the same side where The Big Eye is and see funny people like these two  haha

Steph, remember ???!!! :uhoh:

Gosh, we were so scared of those people  !

What I liked about Madame Tussauds was the part of London's history in that kind of car. I liked it so much that I entered three times :D

By the way, queen Victoria scared me

Steph, remember ???!!! :uhoh:

Gosh, we were so scared of those people  !

hahahaha  I thought they were awsome and that guy was pretty funny because he didn't do anything but people gave him money anyway lol he just sat there and "read" his book while all the other figures did things when people gave them money, but not him. no no :laugh2:

this guy was my favourite, he looked furious and tried to stab everyone who walked past him and everyone who tried to give him money  and then all of a sudden his mobile phone rang so he walked away from the little box he was standing on and talked to whoever it was for a few minutes and then he went back and continued his show
