this is the first time that i absolutely berudge the cup the winner ...

although we lost last time against brasil ... it was clear that they were waaaaay better.

but ... the french team was amazing (especially in the second half and in the extra time).

they were much better than the italian team and they deserved it much more.

zidane had the chance to say goodbye with a huuuuge win but he messed it up himself.

i do feel sorry for him because he just lost himself and that's what the italians wanted. they want someone to go crazy ....

phh ... perfect divers ... they're even better than ronaldo.

everyone around the globe know that they don't deserve it.

italy isn't a team to fear. france is.

zidane is one great football player and i personally don't give a fuck about what he did (mhh ... maybe because i wanted him to hit back for the germans ... lol :D).

^ We do know it know. Materazzi called him "Terrorist!".. Which is awful, because Zidane has Algerian roots and has been told lots of racism comments all his life and is very sensitive about it.. And Materazzi KNEW that and USED this knowledge!! Because he knew that Zidane loses control easily when someone insults him in this way..

Whatever Materazzi said is irrelevant. Zidane shouldn't have done what he did. He should have just insulted him back and beat him after the game -with the Cup if they won- :laugh4:

Racism and childish name-calling shouldn't be allowed on the school-yard, let alone the Football field. Materazzi should be penalized in some way...maybe required to do a public service ad against racism and a hefty fine...nothing cruel, just setting an example.

Today they said on the radio that Zidane's manager announced that there will be a statement by Zizou himself within the next couple of weeks.. And it has been confirmed that Materazzi has insulted Zidane all the game through!

Yeah, me, too. I think it's good that Zidane wants to clear it officially. I'm sure he says that he regrets losing his control - I could even imagine that Zidane won't tell what Materazzi said to him.. Just read a great German article and it says that Zidane's manager said that Zizou WILL indeed say what Materazzi said to him because he wants to clear all the rumours.. In addition, Materazzi denies EVERYTHING that has been said so far - he says he doesn't even know what "terrorist" means, that he didn't say ANYTHING to Zizou and that "the whole world could see what happens" - yes honey, we SAW what happened, but we didn't HEAR anything, that's the problem :P

 

Anyway, France forgave Zidane, he's still an extraordinary football player.
