Longest Time Without Eating

Featured Replies

Yeah?

Im thinking maybe like, a week once. Didnt even get hungry. In fact it was hard to start eating again.

Wow, a week is a long time without any food!

I guess my "record" is something like 2-4 days. But that was because i was sick and just couldn't eat anything.

a week!!?? I could use that... ;)

I couldn't imagine it....I would feel sick or something like that....

there are many people who do it...and drink A LOT of water because they say it's healthy...

Yeah, apparently with water is a great detox or something.

But I wasnt doing that, just drinking coke or something now and then.

Sounds like me with the water.. I do drink a lot of it but yes i also eat quite a lot. There might be some days when i'm just not hungry but then some other day i'll eat like a crazy

5-6 hours...

A day and a few hours, but it seemed like forever

Like... an afternoon. :( And that was hard for me.

I don't ever pay attention to eating unless someone is like, have you eaten lunch yet? Then I have to like, think about when that was.

My stomach doesn't get all growly or upset if I don't eat for (max - two days) . After that it will kick in.

But I (my mind) can ignore it for another day or two after that.

I have gone five whole days without eating. After that I felt sick and HAD to eat.

Yeah, a week here too, maybe even a bit more. I remember it was so warm that I didn't want to eat, so I was, actually, starving. I lost about 5 kilos but nobody noticed it hehe, what a shame. I got them back soon though. Anyway, if I don't want to eat, nothing can make me do it so it's not a problem for me. But I need water, much water.

Oh yes, that is one thing I would die without it...even if for just two hours. Water.

I just don't pay much attention to the meals and such. My family didn't ever really eat meals at a set time... so it wasn't like implanted in me...so I forget.

not long at all... maybe 14 hours at most, but i've never actually tried to restrain myself from food, or ever felt like i could go on without it for a day. aside from the usual 3 meals, i eat when i'm tempted, when i'm bored, and when i'm out with my friends and end up at a restaurant. :dozey:

how do you keep motivated from not eating for days?!

We don't have usual three meals... If I'm hungry I go to the kitchen, cook some food and eat it. I know that nobody's gonna make a dinner for me so I can eat when I want to, as much as I want to. So sometimes I eat six times a day (apple, then cookies and all) and sometimes I eat once a day, but much. Uh, whatever.

the longest i've gone without food is probably like, 2-3 days. I was fasting...and I forget why. I just drank a lot of water.

err a day and a half...and that's without water, too. although when i was a little kid, i got insanely sick and couldn't eat anything for 5 days.

wow... I have never gone without food for longer that 12 hours

3 days I think, but that's because I was just after having an operation and couldn't

wow!!! going without eating...hm...a few hours I think...but food it very important I don't think its not good idea to go without food for days ( thats what I think, I don't know about you all)

i've done 28 hours without food or water. thats uber hard. water makes all the difference.
