That's good, I don't want to get on the wrong side of you. :)

Refer to answer in games thread.

Like, the ones in a wax museum?:laugh3: I understand - I've had it with certain "roosters" as well..

Hmm.. what really grinds my gears? Oh, lots of things! Biggest ones are the myopic egotists - I guess the fake people would be one of their sub-chapters.;)

Power hogs could come in a close second..

  • 2 weeks later...

I know it's small, but something which grinds my gears is packaging on some dvds.

Yesterday I purchased a dvd, which contained 2 90 minute odd programs and a 20 minute interview. I know all that can fit on a standard dvd, in a standard case, but no, they had to split the programs up, which is okay, I can live with that if they put both discs in the same case...

...but no, each disc was in it's own full-size dvd jewel case. What a waste, they could have easily put both discs in one case.

The sound of people chewing...mannn that's gross. I can't eat in silence with any other people ...I have to talk about something or put on music. Sometimes that noise just makes me wanna throw up

Immature people at parties.

school and exams :dizzy:

Getting hayfever!! :annoyed:

^^True dat.

I hate the sound of silverware clinking against each other. It makes my brain itch..... >.<

People (my age) who think boys and looking sexy every day is more important than doing your best in school. Or simply people who don't try their best in school. Then they come to me and ask "Oh Anna how are you so smart!??!" and I say "I'm not that smart. I just work my butt off."

Racists! People treating me unfairly because I'm Asian...

exactly! i hate how BOYS are the central thing in most teenage girls' universes. and then they have the nerve to complain about not doing well in school. gahhhhhh.

the WGA strike is currently grinding my gears.

^^Well I read this book called 'The Female Brain' and it says that the teenage girl brain is wired to fulfill one purpose: become sexually desirable. but this is how our brains were wired for 10,000 years ago!!! there are different priorities today people!!! gosh.

i know. it seems like all my friends that concentrate on looking beautiful all te time (and usually end up looking slutty) have generally crappy lives because they put ALL their energy into looking good and no energy into schoolwork or their friends (besides the boyfriend of course) or their families or college apps....so theyre screwed over in every area other than their bodies. andi just think it's ridiculous trying to please yourself visually 100%: we're our own harshest critics, and there's probably going to always be that little something thats irking you about your hair or makeup or top. so why waste time messing with it? just accept it and go out and have a good time. that one rogue eyelash wont make you have any worse a time, so shut up.

[/rant against girly girls]

We are smart girls, ladies. We don't need men to make us happy and successful!

(Oh wait, wrong thread...)

 Pretty soon this is what all the threads are going to be about.....

I smell feminism in the air...:D

Oh what also grinds my gears -- when guys call girls like me 'femin-nazis'. :dozey: It's rude and offensive, and incredibly immature.

^The above grinds my gears....:P
