With her single "Stars Are Blind" unexpectedly making an impact on the Billboard charts, Paris Hilton will on Aug. 22 release her self-titled album via Warner Bros. "Stars Are Blind" is No. 16 this week on the Billboard Pop 100; its accompanying video is in rotation on MTV and VH1.

The album finds Hilton collaborating with such producers as Scott Storch, Dr. Luke and Jonathan "J.R." Rotem, while rappers Jadakiss and Fat Joe make a guest appearance on "Fightin' Over Me." Among the other tracks is Hilton's cover of Rod Stewart's "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy."

"She has a certain tone that's reminiscent of Cyndi Lauper and Blondie," Storch told Billboard in April of Hilton's sound. "The album doesn't have one particular sound. It's just good music; a combination of R&B, hip-hop and pop. It will surprise a lot of people because there's real artistry coming from Paris."

A behind-the-scenes special on the creation of "Paris Hilton" will premiere Aug. 8 on MTV.

haha ... what a fool to think she could mess with Blondie or Cyndi Lauper ... i doubt she even knows them ... :dozey:

i can't believe that he single is number 8 in the german charts but there are many brainless kiddies buying her cd ... whatever.

a whole album must be a fuckin pain in the arse.

i could go on forever about that stupid bitch. she's like taking a bath in her money but i've never heard that she donated something. *ARGH*!!!! those effing la girls ... they should all go and burn in hell O.o

yes, i shouldn't get angry about the most brainless person in human history ... but life's just unfair.

the video makes me wanna puke ... +____+

i guess her next videos will be the same ... girl meets boy and they're soooo lovely and almost having sex at the beach -.- and yeah, that is soooo hot and sexy and blablablablabla~

hahah ... did you hear the news about her comparing herself to diana?

she said something like:"every generation has its own blonde girl. like marilyn monroe and diana and now it's me!"

someone please gimme a gun!

Answer: no, I'm not ready for that stuck up singer/actress/celebrity.

Answer: no' date=' I'm not ready for that stuck up singer/actress/celebrity.[/quote']

she neither is a singer, actress nor a celebrity.

she actually is a nobody that became famous because of her name.

Well---dah  ...

I know that. That's the sarcastic part.

she moans into a microphone, some producer guy auto-tunes her voice, adds some stupid sounds and expects us to buy into that shit?

sadly, some will.

*Gets AK-47 out of cupboard, removing safety*

If anyone buys it, they have a lot of explaining to do.

Although it can't be as bad as robbie's latest single, the "Worst" Song EVER that person in the sun newspaper wrote today, which isn't like her because she normally puts a lot of "robbie is brilliant" stuff on him

^ haha

do you mean 'sin sin sin'?

yeah, it is really BAD, but i do have to admit that robbie had a few good songs ...

*goes and hides*

Robbie single worst EVER

ROBBIE WILLIAMS’ new track Rudebox is not only the worst song by him I’ve heard, it’s the worst record I’ve EVER heard (and believe me, I’ve had to listen to some sh*te in the past).

I’m not allowed to put the track on a phone line for legal reasons, but to give you an idea of what it’s like, try to imagine you and your mates messing around in your bedroom with a drum machine while comedy “rapping” over the top.

The only difference is Robbie is actually allowed to release this rubbish because he has a record deal. It shouldn’t be allowed on grounds of taste.

Whereas Madonna and Kylie came up with brilliant tracks such as Music and Slow when they branched out from pop to dance, Robbie’s attempt is a tuneless electro dirge that sounds like someone randomly slapping all the presets on a cheap Casio keyboard.

When he’s rapped on records in the past, Robbie has got away with it because he’s then sung a rousing or catchy chorus which is the climax of the song.

But I’m afraid Rudebox has him “rapping” all the way through. Frankly it’s a load of, um, ’rap.

Don’t get me wrong — I’m a huge fan of Robbie’s music. Angels, Come Undone, Rock DJ, No Regrets, Millennium and the genius Feel are all modern classics which will stand the test of time.

And I thought his performances at Knebworth and Live 8 were world-class — he’s a sensational showman.

But I’m sorry — this record is probably one of the worst in history. Actually, it is THE worst in history.

No doubt Robbie will be so incensed at this review that he will slap a ban on me being sent the rest of the album ahead of its release. I’ll let you know if he does.

In the past he’s not taken kindly to criticism.

Rudebox is taken from his new dance album, 1974, which I’ve heard has some great material on it.

He’s worked with the PET SHOP BOYS, DJ MARK RONSON and brilliant producer WILLIAM ORBIT on it and I hope the CD’s other tracks make up for this truly awful single.

Rudebox? Rudeb****x more like.

oh, rudebox...

mhh ... the worst single EVER?

maybe that's a bit of overreaction right there... O.o

we'll see..

I usually try to say informed, thought-out things in my posts, so here's my informed, well thought out opinion of this 'music':

*PUKE, BARF, RETCH, YAK, VOMIT,CHOKE!!!*

wow. i can't believe that her music is actually doing well. What the hell is going on???

I hate Paris Hilton. Boo.

There are ALOT of hard-working, talented musicians out there working their butts off to get heard, and this brainless thing who happens to have a great body and an annoyingly cutsie voice gets rewarded for putting out a plate of crap that the masses will swollow up like the pablum it is...sad.

oh' date=' rudebox...[/color']

very true. 'tis a shame.:veryangry2:

I've never cared about her so far, but since this "I'm the blonde icon of this decade"-statement, comparing herself to Marilyn Monroe and Princess Diana, I absolutely HATE her. And I hate when she says that she works SO HARD and that she worked hard to become that successful.. Gosh, no way! She's popular because she's a fuckin' HEIRESS - it's unbelievable that "heiress" is actually a JOB in the US, just look at that weird Brandon Davis fucker, he doesn't do anything than spending his parents' money and hanging out with Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie (here's the next heiress; she seems a bit more genuine than Paris though).. God, I could go on forever..

It's amazing how much her voice is changed on the song.. You can hear very well that this was a BRILLIANT job by the one mixing it, she sounds so much better than she actually does ;)

The whole thing is an utter disgrace and should never have been allowed to happen!
