Sucky audiences are the worst. Ever.

They sure are. It's understandable seeing it's old (Paul's hair! :lol:), so they didn't know the words. But still, show some excitement!

 

Oh and it looks like they're doing an instore signing before their North Six gig (is that the name of the venue?) in NY. Hope we get some good photos from that :anxious:

crap, and a signing??? When are they playing that, this saturday yeah? I wish there were still tickets, I'd try to go up there.... damnnnnn.

From what I read on their forum, there are a couple of people that couldn't get tickets either. The strategy they are doing (following reccomendations) is showing up at the signing and try to get tickets there. My advice would be, show up there, tell the boys how much you love them and how you would kill to get some tickets. Maybe they can sneak you into their guest list. I've seen some girls do that once at a signing and it worked perfectly. If you show you're a true fan, I reckon you'd be lucky. It's a bit risky not living in the city though.

I would definately try that, though, and I'd try getting early so I'm not like the 50th person to ask them. I've seen people do it too, I know Gary got a guy in to the DPT gig in Boston, which was pretty awesome. Gary's a hero aha maybe I'll do the bullshit "I'm a photographer and..." routine... :idea2:

Hey that sounds like such a fantastic idea. Daydreaming: imagine you got a photo pass! That would be MASSIVE and you would my ultimate hero. But yeah, trying that and getting to go to the gig would be fantastic in itself.

That'd be really helpful, definately. And I'd love to get a photopass, I just don't know what to do for bullshitting... I guess I could say I am the photographer for a paper in Rhode Island covering the story.......

Anyway, have you checked recently for tickets? Cause it doesnt say the usual SOLD OUT tag on their website, but that could be cause it havent been updated, dunno. Give it another look just in case, but yeah, almost sure its sold out though.

I love it how they makes it seem so effortless everytime they're performing live. And they always manage to sound brilliant. Damn these boys, I love 'em!

The fact they seem so carefree on performances is why I love them. They are just like common musicians, they can pick up a guitar and sing yanno, not much rehearsals or fancy instruments. So effortless! And I wont even ramble on Luke's voice live. Its just phenomenal:heart: Seriously thanks for that link of their acoustic album!:kiss: I havent been able to stop listening!

Aww I know, I've been gagging for that album for such a long time! Lucky me, decided to have a quick look at that box account with all the bsides and stuff and voila there it was! Don't you just love it? Luke's voice is just perfect on there, top top stuff. And 'California' :heart: I was eager to hear any live performance as they added it to their current tour setlist, so I was really curious about that. Even though this one's acoustic, still great :D

I know what you mean about Naive, same happens to me with Jackie. That version should have been in the album instead of the actual one. And the tambourine is soooo perfect in that song. Wooo can't really stop listening to this album!

Oh one more thing about the acoustic album: probably my favourite bit is the end of YDLM. The way Luke signs is like on the album (hah don't know how to explain it!) and I hate it that he never sings it that way live! So yeah, swear that's the last thing I'll say about the album (I hope! :laugh3:).
