June 2, 200323 yr Man City net Uefa Cup place Keegan will lead City into Europe for the first time since 1979 Manchester City's disciplinary record has earned them a place in Europe for the first time in 24 years. City finished fifth in the Premiership Fair Play table behind Manchester United, Newcastle, Chelsea and Liverpool. But the sides above them had already qualified for Europe, which meant Kevin Keegan's men would take part in the Uefa Cup providing the Premiership finished top of Uefa's Fair Play league. That was confirmed after other European leagues picked up enough disciplinary points at the weekend to ensure they finished below England. Man City will therefore begin life at the City of Manchester Stadium with their first European campaign since 1979. Keegan's side, who finished ninth in the Premiership, will enter the draw for the Uefa Cup qualifying round on 20 June. The first leg of the tie is pencilled in for 14 August, with the return two weeks later.

June 10, 200323 yr and fc utrecht earned a place in the uefa cup too now that they have won the amstel cup :)
January 13, 200818 yr Looks like they might just do it again, this time by finishing high enough in the table to earn a place ;)
January 13, 200818 yr We should quailfy I would prefer it to be the Champs Leauge. But being realistic it will be hard. On a predictor I have run after 27 Games I still have city in 4th Place taking into account the game against everton yesterday, and possibility of losing at home to ansernal and man utd away. But there will be only 2 points from 4th to 7th Place. From that moment on its to hard to predict mulitpul results of other teams etc.
