^see above comment about them being rust buckets^.

Rubbish diesel engine as well.

I think everything about them was rubbish. I "inherited" mine from my brother.

Yup pure rubbish, but then most things Ford are rubbish anyway.

It was fun driving back from Maximo Park last night. I felt lazy so did the longer (in both time & distance) M4->A34->A303 route, all dual carriageway, so it was 70 most of the way (apart from the times when I was doing 79)

But as Mike prob. knows the dash (clock, speedo, fuel gauge) of the 205 is lit up by 2 lights, well my left hand light was working part of the time, so it cast my speedo into darkness under 50 mph :laugh3:

Lucky for me though, the only speed limits under national were coming off the A34 onto the A303 and coming off the A303 onto the single track road leading out of andover along the 343, which was 50.

Hahaha! I had the same prob with mine!!!

And even worth... the fuel gauge wasn't often working... so going somewhere which was further than 150 km when you don't recall when you put fuel in your car... was dangerous! lol

I ran out of fuel once, and it was in front of my home (what a luck!)

Finally to avoid this kind of problem, I have a small notebook where I wrote the date, the quantity in liter and in Euro when I put fuel in it... and the price of the fuel, to notice any evolution...

That were the good old days with a car full of personnality... lol. I loved it.

Well my clock has a mind of it's own at the moment, it stops working for random periods of time, and speedo bounces at low speeds and the fuel guage below half-tank doesn't work.

My method is simple enough, I know I get around 300 miles from a full tank.

With a full tank, I could drive between 500 and 700km I think. (that was the time when I didn't drive as fast as now... I was a "young driver")

seems we had nearly the same troubles with it, huh?

Well, honestly that what made her charming(if I may use this word lol).

The newest cars aren't that... I'd say... funny... even my Astra doesn't have that personality... And it's only 8 years younger... it evolved so quickly.

The good thing was last night when driving back along the section of M4 which has a new surface, at 70 mph, you could take your hands off the wheel and it would stay in track without trying to pull to one side.

Anyways, that's me off for the evening.

My dream car! :bigcry:

Look at this one:stunned::\

^Excellent choice, Jo!

Well, in my opinion,it's better to keep it natural.

No tunning.

I think it's like killing the car itself... especially with a 350Z...

Nissan 350Z's are rubbish.

Madza R8's are better.

They might be but well it's not like I can ever afford one anyway:dozey:

Noo lol... seriously...

I imagine her driving a little car (is it the case, Jo?)

sth like this:

A Daihatsu Trevise (in France... in Japan, it's named Gino.)

gino_orange.jpg

They really look similar, that's stunning!

And it's the same with the Suzuki Swift.

diabolix_1097060826_swift.jpg

It has sth common with the Mini too.

No, the designer who drew this car and the one who made the Mini aren't the same person.

But I read somewhere that japanese Designers get their inspiration by looking at European cars...

yeah, that's right, it's a good car.

I think it's good that they completely changed it. The previous generations weren't that nice.

Do you plan to buy another car?

Soon.

I knew someone who had a mk1 swift...

...and your right it wasn't a very good car.

haha I liked that you guys tried to guess what kind of a vehicle I drive and none of you were close haha. Not even a little:laugh3:
