have you ever thought about living in another country? do you think you could do it?

 

i havent really, i mean not for a longer period of time.

 

however, i went to england for three months to work there, mainly to see the country and to improve my english. now my time here is almost over and i dont really feel like leaving. i do miss a few of my friends a lot but i got to know many people i really like and ill miss them a lot when im home. ill look for a new job as my placement ends this week and ill probably spend about a year over here.

 

it might sound strange but i sometimes wish id never left my country because i prefer living and it will be even more difficult to leave after having lived here for a whole year.

 

 

Well I have already planed to leave the US and go to Canada for 7 or 8 years than move over to England.

im actually hundred thousand miles away from my country, im currently living and studing in the states. i'll be leaving the states after a year, and get back to my country, and then move to switzerland or england(london preferebly) to finish the college. thats about it.

I think staying is harder.

 

When you leave you move on

When you stay everyone else leaves but you.

Staying means saying no to an oppertunity that you might never have again to live somewhere else and do new things.

Its similar , but when you stay you still know the people have ur family ur lenguage , its sooo diferent

I always think about moving to another country.. I'm really bored of life here

Just want to give people here some words of wisdom about life.

 

It doesnt matter where you -its the people your with that really matter.

If your happy with them then stay, if your not happy then think about leaving.

 

You could be an astronaut in space - but if the others are wankers then you probably wont enjoy much.

I can't stand the idea of being stuck in the US forever! Maybe I'd move to Ireland, or Scotland, or some other place that isn't here. I can go wherever I want. I know I can, and I will.

i dont think id hesitate in leaving brazil!!!

i moved out of here 3 times (Australia, Canada and Spain), and as soon as i graduate i plan to move to england to do my postgrad... (if not england, probably switzerlan or spain, but england is my first choice...)

I'd like to leave France...

 

I'll study in Italia... and then I don't know... but I'd like to travel a lot!

i did live abroad when i was younger- 2 years in Norway and 2 years in the Philippines...

but i guess that doesnt really count because it was my parents' move and i just "tagged along"

but i dont think i'll wanna leave israel... maybe just for a short perioud of time and then i'll come to spend the rest of my life here. I really like living here... i dont think i could feel at home anywhere else like the way i feel here

and from my current state of mind I'd say : NO!

 

Simply because I feel so well here in Germany... this is a developed country...I went to Bulgaria 2 years ago and to Barcelona some onths ago.....those were only 1 week trips but I was so happy when we arrived back home...to see the familiar street signs...the familiar lanugage etc....

 

even if Barcelona is a nice city ........I still feel better in Germany...

 

another thing i realised when going there is that I am maybe too spoiled from my own country....I mean as i said before Germany is a developed country.....many things are so modern here.....

 

so when i go to Spain or Bulgaria I do not feel comfortable because i am used to better living standards.... I don't want to say anything against those countries but I just felt like that when I went there....

 

haha maybe even the temperament of south european people is what I am not used to...:P

Uhm.. When I was about five my parents had a chance to move to Sweden, my dad had a work there and all. But for some reason my mother said that it's too complicated 'cause I'd have to go to Swedish school and I didn't speak neither Swedish or English, of course. Besides, my sister was a pupil already and it'd be hard for her to leave her school... Anyway, my parents decided to leave everything as it is and stay here, in Russia. Though my dad used to live most of the time there, in Sweden, but it wasn't a big deal for me since I was a kid and didn't even understand what's going on :freak:

 

Now when I think about it... What would my life be if I lived there, in another country.. I mean, I love northen countries and I think it'd be just great, I'd learn foreign languages and all. And the education system... I'm sure the Swedish one is much better than the Russian one.

 

I love my country, I guess, Russia is not that bad. I mean, it's big and beautiful :laugh1: But there're so many factors, the country's history is sooo fucked up that sometimes I feel like I hate my own country :uhoh2:

 

And, whatever our president says (he says too much I guess), Russia is not a real European country, you know. We're still outsiders and that sucks like hell.

 

Anyway, I hope I'll move somewhere some day... I just need money, I'll be a burglar maybe then :wacko:

Living in Egypt is probably the single most frustrating thing on earth. Everything here is so damn annyoing; nothing's organised, the goverment's fucking up the population, corruption is huge, I could go on but I'd rather not.

 

So, yes, I'd leave in a flash. Thankfully I can do so easily and plan on leaving as soon as I graduate.

that's exactly how i feel here in israel...

in the airport here, for the arrivals, there is a big sign that says

"Los Angeles was glowing, Paris was stunning, London was great but, there's no place like home!"

and there really isnt :p
