Half 2008

I say 2008... it was three years after AROBTTH when x and y came out so maybe they'll stick to that waiting period... lets hope not :(

Parachutes was released on July 10, 2000 in the UK and on November 7, 2000 in the US. A Rush of Blood to the Head was released on August 26, 2002, which was 2 years, 1 month and 16 days since Parachutes' British release and 1 year, 9 months, and 19 days since its US release. X&Y came out on June 6, 2005, which was 2 years, 9 months and 21 days since AROBTTH.

 

I was hoping for a trend here... haha but I guess, since it's 2 years and 6 days since X&Y, that it will be at least 40 days until the next album...and hopefully, no more than 9 months.

 

I figure it wouldn't take as long as X&Y because of all the massive post-production that went into it. That is assuming that this new album isn't as sonically loaded, of course.

i'd say end of 07. i hope then. its hard to wait for coldplay.

Has it really been that long since the last album? Geez... its seems like yesterday.

 

As long as they are still together making music for us, I can wait.

I say...summer 2008. But I really have no idea,what if they pull a radiohead on us and announce tomorrow that they're releasing an album in ten days?
