October 22, 200619 yr I love art. I think I'm the only person in my grade at my school that really appreciates art.
October 22, 200619 yr Author Yeah, the same here. My classmates can't even spell "abstract impressionism", not talking about appreciating it. And they seem to dislike all art in general.. They don't even like music or movies... I think such people are kinda weird.
November 16, 200619 yr I love Picasso's early works, they are so amazingly moving and beautiful. A friend of mine introduced me to a group from Sweden called 'Halmstadgruppen' a few weeks ago, and I fell in love with this: It's called 'Handsken är kastad'. What's so cool about it is if you turn the picture upside down it looks as if the glow is lying on a table...
November 16, 200619 yr Picasso, Im in love with his late works, but the early works have this strange effect on me. So moving. That artwork is amaaing Tea. Absolutely breath taking:stunned:

November 16, 200619 yr Botticelli  It is isn't it? I just stood staring at it for a long, long time when I saw it. And Picasso... I love him. I didn't like him at all before but I went to a exhibition with my modernart class last month and it was truly amazing seeing his art up on the wall, the cubism (which I've always hated) just became amazing and the old ones

I don't think it shows on pictures though, you just have to see them in front of you to realise how amazing they are: Done for now, make sure you do a quick search at google if you like him :D
November 17, 200619 yr Denise-You posted 2 of my favorites' date=' Guernica and The Empire of light [/quote'] :D I wish I could see Guernica live one day, any person I met who saw it was literally standing minutes with the jaw on the floor :laugh3: I have another painting in my mind which I really like but I can't recall who made it..it's an expressionist painting, a bit scary, but I loved it
