The US has vetoed a UN Security Council resolution condemning an Israeli attack in Gaza that killed 18 civilians, including women and children.

The draft, which also condemned Israeli military operations in Gaza, followed Wednesday's attack in Beit Hanoun.

The US ambassador at the UN, John Bolton, described the text as unbalanced and politically motivated. Ten of 15 Security Council members backed the resolution. Four abstained - Denmark, Japan, Slovakia and the UK. This was the second time this year the US used its veto on a draft resolution on Israeli military operations in Gaza.

News like this really pisses me off, Israeli's army slaughtered innocent civilians, now political interests are above human dignity, and just today a teenager was killed there... Sorry but UN's is shit... this organism is totally useless... human rights, this is only for the powerful!

The Video Pelosi and AIPAC Don’t Want You to See

Kurt Nimmo

Sunday, November 12, 2006

Please note: this video contains images of women and children killed by the Israeli state with U.S. weapons in Beit Hanoun, the Gaza Strip, in violation of the Arms Export Control Act (specifically, Ttitle 22, Chapter 39, Subchapter III § 2778 c). “My wife recorded this for my blog a couple of days ago. Since then, she won’t even look at the news,” writes Sabbah.

Addendum

If the above video is not enough to convince you of the brutality of the Israeli government, watch the one below. On November 2, the IOF “transferred the males of Beit Hanoun aged between 16-45 in a convoy of large trucks to unknown destinations…. Security sources reported that the Israeli occupation forces called the men through loudspeakers, and gathered them in front of An-Nassr mosque in the north of Beit Hanoun,” according to Aljazeera (English translation here). In response, unarmed Palestinian women confronted the IOF and 12 were shot, two fatally. So, the next time Nancy Pelosi gets up before AIPAC and declares Israel is simply protecting itself, please email her a link to this video:

It's not about being friends... intentionally or not' date=' Israel masacrated people... and I don't think about getting into ethics-moral classes with you man![/quote']

For them its kill(defend) or be killed. occasionaly they do wrong, but when their back is against the wall they have no choice. They are forced to do this to survive. I hold the people forcing this upon them guilty more then Israel. Every side does unmoral things, Israel is just a little more moral then the other side, thus i side with them

How ridiculous is that?

How ridiculous is it to side with the underdog? The people backed into a wall, people who didnt start the conflict? people who have been killed and enslaved for 3,000 years? Ridiculous to be for the side that holds the moral high ground? Though it may not be by much, they still hold it. No i do not agree with all the things they do, but overall they hold the moral highground, that is why i side with them.

They are a brutal zionists thugs and that what I trying to say all the time

And the Arabs have just as many Brutal thugs, the difference is one side is fighting for survival in a war they did not start, the other (arab) fighting for land and greed because of hatred.

PS nothing wrong with zionism. They did it legally and morally and peacefuly until attacked for being jews....

So i shouldnt be on their side because nuclear weapons are the reason they are still alive? If not for that they'd all be killed.

And they get help from pretty much america, they need one ally, since for 3,000 years they have had the whole fuckign world allied agaisnt them and now days most are allied with the terrorist in palestine.

I know. It's beyond crazy. Just have ignore the lack of understanding after a while.

Also, why is every organisation who are against the US or UK etc. called terrorist organisations? I know why but I don't think most people do.

No, there are literally tons of organisations that are against america and not called terrorist. only when the shoe fits for a FEW groups, the large majority are not called or considered terrorist by america's government and people. Just the groups that use terrorism as their tactics.

well its pretty obvious, they are terrorist organisations. the oslo peace accord had the potential to solve all this, and also in 2001 barak gave the arafat an offer for a huge ammount of israel including joint control of jerusalem

so... i don't think its fair to criticise israel for oppression when the palestinians have had several opportunities to establish a state but declined because of their seagull mentality.
