Some people can only survive on oxygen machines, they depend on a machine for life, yet they are human. I know a old lady who is very nice but has to have a oxygen machine, so by your reasoning she's not human, thus it would be ok to kill her?

Yes breathing with their own pulse and can therefore "live", but require care to survive. A fetus does not have this. Providing care is not the same thing as life support. When a woman is pregnant, she is the life support machine ie: supplies all organ fuction, not just food, and if she doesn't want that, it's her dicision, not yours or mine. People that are living on life support choose to do so and if they are unable to choose on their own then their next of kin decides for them. If their family chooses to remove the support that doesn't make them murders. And a family can withdraw support even if they aren't on machines, they can withhold all care and ask for comfort measures only and that's not just some old granny, that's any age including their 1 hour old baby.

All those cases are the same, they CANNOT survive naturally without someone or somethings help.

 

Paralyzed people on oxygen machines cannot breath for themselves, feed themselves, wash, cloth or really just about anything for themselves... a fetus is no different then a paralyzed person or a mentally handicapped person in the regaurds that they cannot survive on their own.
