The 'Greatest Voices of All Times' thread

Featured Replies

I think there was a similar thread but I searched it and couldn't find it.

To me it would have to be:

Male - Freddy Mercury and Morrisey

Female - Annie Lennox and (sorry for this one) Mariah Carey

hmmm..

To me, Jeff Buckley and Johnny Cash were the best male voices.

Female, have to think about.

and (sorry for this one) Mariah Carey

Yes - you definitely should be!! She sings completely without soul.:dozey:

Well I don't know what about all times but Jeff Buckley's voice is truly amazing.

There're many voices I really like and all of them are male. I don't know why but I just don't like female voices. The exception is Bjork - her voice is almost perfect for my ears.

Björk, that's my favourite female voice ! :nice:

I'm gonna have to go with Jeff Buckley as well. He had truly outstanding vocal abilities.

For female...I think I'm gonna have to go with Enya. So soothing.

Jeff buckley and Björk oh and some special mention to the girl who sings with damien rice, her voice is just

Celine dion and jeff buckley :)

yeah, Jeff Buckley had a great voice, but imo Tim's was better. both are wasted talents unfortunately...
