I agree! Its so fake, the entire idea of having just one day during the entire year to celebrate love. I pretty much regard it as any other day.

 

Today at school I won a box of chocolates as a prize for a contest and everyone was coming up to me asking "did you get a valentine?!?! who?!?!" :dozey:

valentine's day is just a total waste of money. Even if if I had someone to share it with (!!:cry: ) I wouldn't go nuts like some people do. You should tell the person you love them EVERYday not just once a year.

I'll be alone. BOOO valentines day! Hopefully I'll get some free chocolate though. :P

my Dad used to buy me a rose for valentine's Day. He doesn't even bother now, I'm a lost cause :lol:

I wasn't lonely last year.. or.. oh whatever I forgot the date but I celebrated Valentine's Day and believe me, it sucks.

The only thing on your mind is what could you possibly buy for your guy.

i cant say i'm looking forward to that day. seeing hearts and them things in every shop makes me sick. valentine's day doesnt mean much to me but the fact that i cant spend it with my bf makes me really sad. not just valentine's day though, its pretty much the same every day.

well it definitely does in my situation.

 

i dont think me and my boyfriend would particularly care about that day if we lived together. you dont need a day like that to show your partner that you love him. apart from that i'm not really into hearts and flowers and them things. but when i see them they still bring me down because it makes me think of how much happier i could be if my boyfriend was around.

Another pointless holiday...only useful for retailers to make an extra buck or two....
