hearing and sight.

Featured Replies

out of interest.

do you still hear and see perfectly?

or do you need glasses or contacts?

my eye sight is horrible.

i can't see without glasses or contacts, which is quite annoying.

i'd like to try that laser correction...

my cousin's husband had such a surgery and his eye sight is perfect now and he does not have any problems anymore.

i can hear very well, though, but i think i'll have my ears destroyed in a few years because of all the loud music. :dozey:

I wear contacts, but my eyesight is still shit, I need a higher Rx.

Its frustrating, I squint even with my contacts in, and plus, I get lazy with them, and never take them out before bed, so I wake up with eye boogers, and have to wait 10 minutes to enter the light, I know my problems are preventable, but I never feel like doing anything with my contacts before bed.

:laugh4:

i would never dare sleeping with my contacts.

i'm just too scared.

I have glasses that I only wear once in a blue moon. (Well if I'm at the back of my classroom or something)

I'm actually what they call 'legally blind'. It's not total blindness, but I'm under the legal limit to drive, and I have to wear glasses...which I never wear out of vanity, lol.

My hearing, on the other hand, is above average. I guess the other senses really do compensate when you lose one. Since I'm a musician, I'm glad for the great hearing.

i have great eye-sight [annual trip to the optometrists] and i think my hearing is relatively good [i need to chill with the music volume lol] but sometimes i feel like all those days sitting by the lamp - that doesn't provide great light - and avoiding my dad's warnings of "turn on the main light so you can see better! you don't want to ruin your eye-sight" may soon catch up to me. however i can see everything, far and close.

a friend of mine recently told me she now wears glasses, and when i saw her last week it was really odd to see her. but now, i can't really 'see' her without them lol

I can hear fine. And I see see pretty good MOST of the time, occasionally things seem to be a little blurry or hard to read and I have to squint to see them.

I wear glasses......but actually my eyes are not that bad, I only have to wear them when I read and drive a car and things like that.....but becasue I like my glasses I wear them almost the whole day (except when I'm at home lazy....)...

that reminds me of a conversation I once had with my former class mates.....there was one guy who had to wear glasses as well.....he said he wanted to have a laser operation when he is older....oh well I think I was the only one who said "I like my glasses"

I think my ears are ok....I never had problems with them,....

I hear perfectly. Even with the earphones on and the music loud, I can hear my mum talking.

My eyes are weaker, I need glasses but I think seriously of surgery. It'd be better without glasses. What's more, they're always dirty, full of dust, or fingerprints. This is annoying.

I'm short sighted so I need glasses to see in the distance. My eye-sight actually got worse over the past year or so and I had to get stronger ones recently (I like the new ones better... the frame is nicer). I think I can see close up reasonably well though. I don't think I could have surgery for them.. I'm happy with glasses and I don't like the idea or lasers on my eyes.

My hearing is fine as far as I know.

I hear perfectly, I see perfectly. I rule :crown:

i used to wear glasses when I was younger because of my left eye. And it was amazing how my eyesight deteriorated just because of them. When I stopped wearing them I couldn't see well in the distance (though the dioptry was small), but after a while I saw everything perfectly again. Now, my eyesight is good, though sometimes things get blurry due to being before the computer too much. ;)

And my hearing isn't bad either... though I'm known that i mishear lots of things :D

I am perfect in every way.

 I was gonna answer the same thing!

only you and me, eh?

Well. I have super vision. Like when there is more than one person in the car and we are on a watch for a particular street sign...I spot it from very far away. It almost amazes me. And not just being able to SEE things, but notice things most people don't think to look at, so that's cool.

And my hearing is fantastic too  suckers

I need glasses to drive and to read some-stuff, but I can see without glasses.

And my hearing is pretty good.

i guess i hear well. i cant see well and i think i'll need contacts any time soon. i've seen a doctor two years ago and he said i didnt need glasses but i think it got worse.

Yeah mostly okay...i dont know about the hearing but....

I need glasses but I don't wear them.

I think I'm going to get contacts.

My hearing is great, though.
