Good news for supporters in France... "TPS Foot" will also be broadcasting the All Stars match live from Lisbon (22:15 CET). This channel, which probably seems to be a pay-tv station in France, will also repeat this game on Sunday at 20:25 CET. ;)

 

Hope my French was good enough lol...

This site below will probably mention some channel tomorrow who will be broadcasting the game via internet. You first have to install either "PPLive" "PPStream", "TVAnts" or "Sopcast" etc. to be able to watch it. I once downloaded the Sopcast player to watch different football games there and it worked fine. So maybe you'll have a chance to watch and to record the whole game.

Chico Buarque e Will Champion serão os grandes embaixadores da música no AllStars’07. Ambos confirmaram terem aceitado o convite endereçado por Luís Figo e estarão presentes no Estádio Alvalade Séc. XXI no próximo dia 9 de Junho.

Foi sempre objectivo da Fundação Luís Figo transformar estes encontros numa festa alargada a artistas e desportistas de várias áreas e não apenas do futebol. Nessa perspectiva, a presença destas duas figuras do panorama musical internacional reveste-se de natural relevância.

Will Champion, nascido em Southampton em 1978, é actualmente o baterista da banda Coldplay e um amigo pessoal de Luís Figo. Chris Martin, o líder da banda, considera-o uma «Human Jukebox», tal a facilidade com que domina vários instrumentos e com que toca qualquer música. Apaixonado pelo futebol, revela-se entusiasmado pela sua presença em Portugal no próximo mês de Junho: «Estou obviamente feliz pelo convite. Sei que jogar com estrelas de primeira grandeza vai exigir muito de mim, e espero não fazer má figura. Podem estar certos de que treinarei com afinco. Aliás já comecei a treinar. E estou convencido de que será uma festa bonita. Espero que as pessoas vão ver o jogo porque a receita reverte para uma causa nobre como poucas».

Chico Buarque dispensa praticamente apresentações. Ele e a sua equipa, o Politeama, formada pelos músicos que o acompanham, já viajaram um pouco por todo o Mundo e rara é a digressão em que não aproveitem para disputar um jogo de futebol. O Politeama tem até um hino - «Politeama, Politeama/Cultiva a fama/De não perder» - composto pelo próprio Chico, como é evidente, e já actuou por diversas vezes em Portugal, como estarão recordados, em encontros nos quais teve como adversários selecções de jornalistas e de empresários.

Chico Buarque, nascido em Junho de 1944, é um dos nomes mais sonantes da Música Popular Brasileira e da própria música internacional. Uma carreira recheada de êxitos, uma vida marcada pela oposição à ditadura de do presidente Médici, que lhe valeu o exílio em Itália e muitas canções censuradas, um período em que se viu obrigado a compor sob pseudónimo (Julinho da Adelaide), melodias que marcaram já duas gerações e que continuam a ficar presas ao ouvido de quem as trauteia, e uma paixão imensa pelo futebol que por várias vezes foi tema de composições suas.

Motivos mais do que suficientes para que o All Stars’ 07 seja uma festa verdadeiramente diferente.
