i don't feel it was that important... However I just wondered who does Luna Lovegood marry? I imagine it would be Nelville since it fits and what does Harry do for the rest of his life, I mean is he an Auror? I felt the epilogue was strange but it could have been made better if it were only longer.

I think luna marries dean..they were doing much things together, not sure.

And yeah i wondered too what harry and ginny became now.

And i thought there would be more about petunia and her husband and child, i expected that they would meet again in the book.

And we didnt hear much about teddy.

I think she could have made the end much longer.

I like the book but not the epilogue :shocked2:

Right now I'm sad because id over and there will be nothing to wait for, I cried when Fred and Dobby died and even though I used to hate Snape now I think he was a great man and his death was really sad too :(

i want to know what did george do after fred died :(

^exactly... it's really sad that there's hardly anything about what happened right after the battle was over. i would have loved to read something about the next day for example... the epilog was alright, but yet it sounded like a fan fiction ;D

When Snape died he told Harry to look at him, and Harry has his mom's eyes. And snape loved lily, i thought that was sad. :(

And Ron and Hermione have more than 2 kids, I thought. Because in the epilogue Harry's son was like, "Teddy's kissing Victoire, our cousin!" But I guess she could be another Weasly's kid...

my sister made me laugh, you can tell she's a psychologist. her reason's for not liking the epilogue was that it was too much happy family and there was no evidence of the psychological scars they would have suffered both from the events of the series & also that last battle.

i still want to know what happened to george :(

the epilog was alright, but yet it sounded like a fan fiction ;D

Agree. I was wondering if Rowling wrote that to meet the readers demand (or maybe I should say market demand). The epilogue was so and-they-live-happily-ever-after kind of thing.

Me too! The twins are my favorite characters of the book (and the movies ;)). Will he continue their business? I mean his partner and soulmate in creating those crazy stuff had gone. Oh, George! :(

And poor boy...Albus Severus Potter. I mean seriously? But on the other hand, Scorpius Malfoy? I think Harry and Draco must want their kids to end up together in the my-parents-are-idiots-and-named-me-ridiculously club because they didn't get to get it on when they were in school. :P :D

I know they did it to honour Dumbledore and Snape, but don't you think it's too much to put those 2 names on one person? :\

i felt the epilogue was tacky

EXTREMELY.

God, it was all ruined with it.

Ungh, Harry sucks.

 yeah it sounds funny poor boy, scorpius was soooo funny, i wonder who malfoy married, pansy maybe?

I really liked it.

more spoilers about what happened to everyone :wacky:

she missed this on the epilogue

Ooooh thanks for that! :nice:

I still can't believe it's all over. There's still so many questions that need to be answered, and it's bugging me! :P The epilogue felt like it was...forced I guess. I was hoping something not so obvious because practically everyone wanted Harry/Ginny and Hermione/Ron to really happen.

Just some quick thoughts about the book:

absolutely loved reading ANYTHING to do with Severus Snape, my favourite character since book 1. I never doubted it, I knew he was good, heartbreaking stuff. 'the Prince's tale' is what I've been waiting to read this whole time, so when we finally got a look into Snape's tragic and sad past, it was very emotional. and I liked the fact Snape was not only remembered but honoured, by Harry calling his son Albus Severus

The death of Dobby, it was so sad, but it was handled beautifully, with harry giving him a proper burial

Loved how Neville finally got to show he was a true Gryffindor

I liked the fact each of the horcruxes were destroyed by different characters

When Harry was walking into the forbidden forest to meet Voldemort, incredible stuff.

Kreacher :) how good was he!!...loved his turn around

it took me 4 days to finish the book, and i must say i was quite disappointed

it seemed she was killing of characters just for the heck of it, the only death that felt somehow meaningful was Dobby's.

and the best chapter in the book is "The Prince's Tale", and just that chapter makes the book worthwhile, otherwise it's actually quite boring

ive discussed it with other friends and they've agreed....

annd the end is way too much of a happy ending, it's too easy to make everyone satisfied with it- i mean, she made a perfect world afterwards, but she killed of fred and tonks and lupin so that the people who wanted some tragedy would get it

i dunno, im disappointeddd

I was somewhat disappointed too. The book was a blood bath, and even with that happy ending it still left a lot of questions. I don't think anyone was 100% satasfied. :/

The ending of the book leaves room for a sequel.

The 7th movie will be long as there really isn't much in the way of sub-plots in book 7, whoever has the job at cutting the book into a script will have a hard job.
