my best experience was just on June 6 in Colorado Red Rocks! Pouring rain, really cold, but NO ONE noticed the weather. I have been to six CP concerts so far, and that was my favorite, even after Madison Square Garden which was AWESOME!! The energy at red rocks was amazing.

I heard about that red rocks show...... amazing.

 

My best experience was in Barcelona last November.... I think being about 2 rows back in a small club helps a lot! It was my first ROBTTH show.. and hearing Politik at the beginning blew my mind.........

Awesome!! I'd have to say the I & I for me. I was with my friends and it just seemed so memorable. :)

We had a couple of DMB fans raid our board when their board was shut down. They seemed like cool people. :D

i saw them only once but it was the best performance i've ever been too. it was may 20 this year, i was front row and the guys were just amazing. the opening act The Music were just brilliant as well.

i've only seen coldplay once now. (and i'm damn lucky to have seen them, i know!) i personally loved the performance of clocks on the brit awards. i thought it was so good.

the best performance ive seen is the one i saw live in new orleans of course but the live performance of everything's not lost that mtv.com has where chris sings nelly is really nice, just the energy was amazing. It wasnt really like that at the concert i went to, people didnt even know the lyrics of the song, i felt like i was the only one singing but oh well.

I saw Coldplay in L.A. with Pete Yorn, but never with DMB. Have you heard O.A.R.? I would think they might appeal to you if you like DMB shows. If you ever get the chance, go to one of their concerts. They're one of the best live concert experiences I've ever had - it's much like what I would imagine the 60s and 70s concerts to be like in terms of atmosphere. They're very much like the Dave Matthews band, not just sound-wise, but also because the energy I feel at their concert is so vibrant and contageous. Their CD (In Betwen Now and Then - http://www.ofarevolution.com) a good job of capturing their live sound. I was relieved to find that their live energy translates in the studio - since it's their first major label deal, I wasn't sure if the CD would do the live show justice, but it does. But definitely go to one of their concerts if you can, it's incredible.

But we were all lined up outside waiting to go in and they came out and said the show was cancelled but they stood outside in the parking lot and played 6 accoustic songs for use. Also the 2nd time i saw them, which they had there concert inside this time, it was a great concert. When the next song was about to start Chris gave a speech saying how good we are to them and so he suprised everyone by bring Elton John on stage to perform on the Piano while Chris sang Trouble, and hearing everyone soooo surprised and screaming, it was great. So those are my great memories.

I also was in that show in Barcelona!!!!!! Woooww, your reply makes me very happy!! We both were there!!!

That show was totally awesome, great sound and venue. I've been in two shows but that one was my first one and, no doubt, it was the best!!

i saw them in belfast last october - idlewild opened and id never really heard them before - they were brilliant!!

 

of course nothing beat coldplay- they ROCKED the whole place! yellow was the best song i think, evvvvvvvvvvvveryone was singing it and chris hardly sang any of it :D

march 6th. atlanta, Georgia. Elton john as special guest. That was the most happy that i can ever recall being at one time in my whole life.

well back on subject, from what i've heard, the toronto show was pretty good

i'm goin to see coldplay headlining at a big 2 day festival this saturday night :shock: i'm so excited i really don't know what to think :o :lol:

When they open with Politk it's intense!
