The Radiohead - In Rainbows Thread

Featured Replies

^ I sometimes wonder how people can be that stupid. Many people I have avised to download it on inrainbowsdotcom, even for free if they want to, answered like "I don't know. I think I'll D/L it from eMule".

Do they even listen when we talk to them.

I think the problem was that some people thought that the speed when downloading it from the main site would have been slower than eMule and other p2p networks.

^Sadly true. But they were wrong, it was quick! And doesn't it feel more reliable to get it from the official site and all? I don't know...

The 2:42 mark of Bodysnatchers makes me go crazy! I LOVE IT!!!

^I love "Has the light gone out for you? cause the light's gone out for me!" and I also like the 3.08 mark where it gets back to the guitar...it's only good if you're blasting it on headphones though...

Plagiarism?

It’s a thin line between plagiarism and coincidence, a part of Radiohead’s new song ‘Reckoner’, which actually doesn’t sound like the song we knew as ‘Reckoner’… but that aside, Belgian radio station Studio Brussel claim there are similarites with ‘La Ritournelle’ recorded by Sebastien Tellier two years ago. Listen to ‘Reckoner’ and ‘La Ritournelle’ and you decide…

just listened to La Ritournelle. doesn't sound anything like Reckoner.

ok, both songs feature drums, bass, guitars and strings. wow, that's true plagiarism right there, baby.

I've been addicted to Jigsaw for the last three days : listened to it about twenty times each day. This song rocks.

could you please upload it so i could compare them myself either?

it's on youtube :)

Today i'm thinking that All i need is the modern radiohead version of Climbing up the walls? Both are alike in lyrics and in the somber theme i dunno, i just see them that way... what do you guys think??

La Ritournelle is a great track - The only decent song from the album it came from "politics" (and I would advise anyone to get this single EP)......But it's nothing like Reckoner.

i actually quite see the resemblance...but i don't think Radiohead plagiarised

i like both tracks though...Reckoner more =D

i like the beat that goes round and round......Jigsaw Falling Into Place!

Videotape, i just love it the more i hear it

Jigsaw is so catching! It could be a radio song. Well to me anyway

@ Kaisin : Well I don't understand all of the lyrics, but I don't have the feeling that All I Need is as dark as CUTW. But it may be. Of course the lyrics and quite slow tempo make it a little reminiscent, but... I don't know what to think actually
