Bastian Schweinsteiger was brilliant in the Euro 2008 quarter final. It's weird because in Euro 2004 he was the "hot prospect" but nothing much happened from 2004 onwards. However he was in my Euro 2008 fantasy football side and he helped me to a respectable 8th place overall in the competition!

Well, I think he has his good games, then he has brilliant games, but sometimes it's as if he's not even there ... I like him, but he hasn't reached his whole potential yet, I think.

What was really impressive for me though, was how he reacted in 2006 after the game against Argentina. He was one of the youngest and yet he reacted very mature.

Revenge was complete last month but now England have probably exceeded Croatia's punishment on England 2 years ago with a far harsher punishment on the Croats.

But we'll also miss the chance to see him cry like a wee girl when they go out.
