Man this movie rocks. Even though I got there late.. I sitted in 2nd row with eyes rolled up but it was the best Batman movie I had ever seen. Cillian Murphy was on it there too. I forgot that the joker was heath.

yea, I love Cillian Murphy. he was in all of Batman Begins but just the beginning of this one. He's such a great actor tho.

The Dark Knight, Violet Hill style! :wideeyed:

Wow. That was really cool.

What's everyone's favorite part of the movie?

Mine is

when the Joker escapes from the jail by blowing up the cell phone in the guy's stomach and then is driving away in the Police car with his head out the window. It was right after Gordon said "He wanted me to put him in county". As it shows him with his head out the window there is a pure bass sound playing and everything else is silent. It's just such a great moment and it shows just how unstoppable the Joker is. It's the moment when you sit and think Boy, he is impossible to beat. He's just too good.

I love that part! The whole sequence of events in the jail were perfect... how they kept transitioning from the prisoner complaining about his stomach hurting, to the Joker talking about the officer's friends while in the cell... to everything else. It was perfect!

Although I do have to say my absolute favorite part was the hospital part... it was just priceless when he walked away, blowing everything up in his midst. :P

This movie is brilliant. I saw it in the theaters last week, and I'm hopefully going to see it again this week. Heath was perfect as the Joker - he put Jack Nicholson to shame. He's definitely going to get an Oscar for his performance, he was absolutely amazing.

The one thing that irritated me, though, was Christian's Batman voice. He sounded like he was gargling water, I could barely understand him.

I didn't like Maggie replacing Katie either. Why couldn't Katie Holmes be Rachel one more time? :\

But I'm glad it didn't have too much gore, that adds to the suspense. The length was almost torture though. But it seems like the best movies are the longest. [see The Green Mile and Titanic]

That's funny, I liked Katie Holmes as Rachel in the first movie, but I thought Maggie murdered the role. IMO she was fantastic in The Dark Knight, much more convincing than Katie Holmes.

LoL this irritated me too only because a review I read before I saw the movie pointed it out and when I saw the movie I was automatically focused on the voice because of it. If I hadn't read about it first it probably wouldn't have annoyed me as much.

^lmao. thanks for that!

"Are you speaking bat?"

John Nolan (chris' brother and script writer) confirmed that two-face IS dead in an interview. If anyone wants the link I will post it up (however, if no one does, I am too lazy).

Thanks, and dont worry, you can be lazy:D

Link, please. I'm highly skeptical that he's dead. I'd give it about a 5-10% chance.

batman has to talk like this because everyone knows what bruce wayne sounds like, so if he was to just go around talking like bruce wayne it really wouldnt keep his identity a secret would it. It all goes back to these two movies trying to be more realistic. Forget about the other batman movies, Begins and tdk are totally different. Oh and i saw the movie in the imax theatre twice yesterday. AMAZING, EPIC. are the only words to describe it. If you havent seen this on imax you need to just for the chase seen where the truck flips. amazing. How bout a magic trick?

I wish I could see it in IMAX but no IMAX theaters in Connecticut are playing it:cry:

I'm seeing it in IMAX next week! SO excited. :D

Lucky! Im jealous!:D

It was a good movie, but not nearly as good as people made it sound. I'd put in my top 15 favorites maybe.

I listened to the whole interview, and it really did nothing but make me even more certain that Two-Face will be back if and when there is a third film. The interviewer is the only one who says anything about Two-Face being dead, and obviously John can't just blurt out "HE'S NOT DEAD!" and ruin the suspense for everyone. When John says anything about anything happening to the character, he always refers to him as Harvey Dent, not Two-Face. As in, "...and Harvey Dent pays the price," which is the only thing he says which could be even loosely interpreted as saying that Harvey/Two-Face is gone.

Once again, folks, Harvey Dent is dead. Two-Face is not.

Just drop it. Both of them fell and died instantly. It's over for BOTH OF THEM.:dozey:

You mean, both his first and second face? :D

I'm going to see it for a THIRD TIME tomorrow at 12:45. Im so pumped!!

I'm aiming for at least 5 times in theaters, then Im totally buying the DVD!!!!!!

I saw it at the IMAX the week it came out. Was really impressed with Heath, but Christian Bale as Batman was pretty awful.
