The Dark Knight

Featured Replies

I read a inteview with nolan that said the composers used the sound of thousands of bees together and spliced it in with the score for the joker.

Nooooo Way!! Thats freakin crazy... that noise always gave me the chills.... remind me to stay away from bees! :P

did anyone hear that johnny depp might play the riddler in the third one? :stunned:

No way! that scene is crazy

i must say, the backgound score has a huuugee affect on it too, that crazy buzzing sound that u hear whenever joker comes around always freaked me out... esp when he started his

'Do u wanna know how i got these scars?'

Yeah, that's probably my favorite musical effect in any movie ever!:D

It's pretty cool but it's not that cool.:dozey:

This is an ammmmmmmmazing movie...have seen it three times already and would happily go again. And I'm not just saying that. God. Fex. If only Christian Bale wasn't so wooden, it might actually be my favourite movie of all time.

I agree with the Maggie thing.... I loved Katie in the first one, she really portrayed the character well.. i think she would've done well in this one

No...I have to totally disagree on this one. Maggie Gyllenhaal is amazing and Katie Holmes has absolutely nothing on her. Tom Cruise or no Tom Cruise...sorry Katie, but Maggie wins every time.

I agree... Maggie was definitely better. Her and Christian Bale had better chemistry too

I preferred Maggie, I don't know why people thought she was bad

the character was different this time, she was seeing Dent, so it was obvious she was going to be a bitch to Bruce because she still loves him but he's chosen batman over her.

The way I saw it, she was only with Dent to get to Bruce, I mean you saw how hesitant she was when dent first mentioned marriage at wayne enterprises.

LOL.

I just saw the movie this past weekend and I really liked it. The only thing that really got on my nerves was Batman's voice, ugh! It drove me crazy! Also, Heath did an amazing job. The joker really freaked me out a couple times!

Ahahaha... dont worry it def is a given! Just tryna make conversation thats all!

Depp would def be able to pull off riddler.... I mean he was excellent as jack sparrow, just imaging him as riddler gets me excited!

do you mean excited for the movie...or something else? lol :shocked2:Yea i have no doubt the johnny depp could pull off almost any role hes given.

Same here, I might see it a fourth time...

I think they both played it well, just differently. Both had good and bad. I think Katie was better with playing the part like the two had a history together, but Maggie played it better as far as chemistry and emotion. Both good, just different.

Maggie played it better in my opinion... I don't know why but Katie just didn't really pull it off as much

I just saw the ad for Heath's E true hollywood story, I have to admit I felt kindof sad watching it because I he had me the moment I first saw Brokeback Mountain, which is one of my favourite movies of all time.

I actually hadn't put too much thought into this but just realised I stayed in my seat through the movie's credits (didn't even think of leaving) to see the small homage to Heath at the end, felt like I was paying my respects to the wonderful artist that he was.

I didnt know they had a homage to Heath at the end of the credits for batman? Is that what you were talking about?

Damn it! :(

really! i would of sat through the credits if i knew something dedicated to him was coming at the end.

^its not at the end i thinks its right after all the main credits like the director and actors...and the the dedication and it goes to the rest of the credits.

I think it's after the entire credits, or at least it was like that here (though I don't think it changes according to the place)

ok then, thanks for both sides of the story. i shall watch closely if i go see it again

The Dark Knight was genius! I've only seen it once but I'm hoping to see it again on Imax when I go to San Francisco in September!! I just can't believe some people thought it was too long and had some boring bits, I loved it from start to finish and never really thought it dragged. Heath Ledger was great but I think Aaron Eckhart as Two Face was almost as good and a bit over looked. The one thing I didn't really like was Christian Bale's strange tough guy voice as Batman, lol, but by the end I didn't notice it anymore anyway!

love you heath ledger

Saw it for the third time last night.

I wish I'd seen the Heath Ledger dedication.

It might be on youtube.
