Get out! Really?? I do that sometimes..i have this notebook that i just keep random clippings of things, words or poems, lyrics to songs..anything that will inspire me or interest me. It's really helpful when i have to write something. :)

yeah i had a notebook full of stuff i'd both written myself and stuff which meant a lot to me... also it was the closest thing i had to a diary, and i lost the thing... dammit. oh well. but yeah, i have the folders full of printed poems because i'm a cheapskate and don't buy the books... i've got hundreds of plath ones, and i had to look up what my favourites are from, and it turns out most of my favourites are from 'ariel'...
